After not answering the unrecognized number, an automated voice message was left. The message said, "Hello, this is officer Alice Brown calling you from the headquarter of social security administration. Your social security number is suspended. Please kindly contact the emergency help line number which is 361-298-0554. Thank you and have a great day." This is the third time they've called in the past 6 months.

I keep receiving phone calls from 904-374-8274 and the callers claim to be with the social security administration. They first tell me that I am due $2600, and that they can help me obtain these benefits. When I tell them that I have not applied for benefits they start asking personal questions. The callers won't give me any information about who they are with.

Consumer received several calls from a person claiming to be from the Social Security Administration inquiring about information to confirm her eligibility to receive benefits. Consumers does not currently receive benefits and told the person she could not talk at the time the person hangs up and keeps calling back. The consumer gave no personal information. Consumer contacted the real social security administration and the confirmed that they do not make consumers call such as this and to contact the ScamPulse.com to report the scam.

The person called saying that they were from the Social Security Administration and did I set up an account recently and would I answer questions for him. Because I had recently set up an account, I asked him for a number to call him back. At this point, he hung up on me. He called AGAIN today and said the same thing. I told him he had already called me before and again he hung up. He called me on my cell phone number which I seldom give out. I do not think this was a random call.
