After not answering the unrecognized number, an automated voice message was left. The message said, "Hello, this is officer Alice Brown calling you from the headquarter of social security administration. Your social security number is suspended. Please kindly contact the emergency help line number which is 361-298-0554. Thank you and have a great day." This is the third time they've called in the past 6 months.

"Nancy Gomez" from the Social Security Administration called stating that my social security number had been suspended. Asked me to call back on their helpline number 805-293-1723. This was all in a voicemail as I did not answer the call.

A gentleman called an introduced himself as Joe and asked if I could hear him ok. I replied yes and he said he was calling me in regards to my asking about collecting social security benefits. I told him I never called Social Security Administration. Then the phone went dead.

I keep receiving phone calls from 904-374-8274 and the callers claim to be with the social security administration. They first tell me that I am due $2600, and that they can help me obtain these benefits. When I tell them that I have not applied for benefits they start asking personal questions. The callers won't give me any information about who they are with.

You will get a call from 361-298-0226 asking if you would like your social security benefits press 1.After pressing 1 a lady by the name of AMY said she was working with the SSA & needed my social security number.When ask what was her address she said clear water,Florida. The phone # is from yoakum ,TX.Very dangerous people looking to steal SS#s aruond lunch time

Consumer received several calls from a person claiming to be from the Social Security Administration inquiring about information to confirm her eligibility to receive benefits. Consumers does not currently receive benefits and told the person she could not talk at the time the person hangs up and keeps calling back. The consumer gave no personal information. Consumer contacted the real social security administration and the confirmed that they do not make consumers call such as this and to contact the ScamPulse.com to report the scam.

The person called saying that they were from the Social Security Administration and did I set up an account recently and would I answer questions for him. Because I had recently set up an account, I asked him for a number to call him back. At this point, he hung up on me. He called AGAIN today and said the same thing. I told him he had already called me before and again he hung up. He called me on my cell phone number which I seldom give out. I do not think this was a random call.
