Scammer called 2 days in a row. After I returned the call from another phone, the scammer asked for my name and phone number that they called me. After I refused to give my name and asked if they would send me a letter regarding suspension, he said they don't send mail, and this is urgent., if you don't cooperate, we will suspend your number now. I just hung up, realizing it was a scam.

I told her I was calling back and she asked me my name. I didn’t give it to her but said I will not give you my social security number. She just hung up! Then I called back again and she answered same way. I said who are you really? She said F__k you and hung up again.

Received a phone message on 1/28/2019 at 12:20 pm saying my card and SSN number has been involved in FRAUDULENT activity and to call immediately before they begin criminal charges against me!!!. I was given the phone # 936-755-1790. When I called back (using *67) it was an Asian man who answered and said, " My name is Agent Kevin Brown of the Social Security Fraud Department. My ID# is #159007AC. Then he went on to say the reason for call was my SSN is involved in FRAUDULENT activity. He proceeded to ask me for my name. I asked him to give me SSN involved in thus activity and where & what type of activity. All he kept saying is "it was involved in fraudulent activity "!! Then I started laughing & told him I know this is a scam & he said, " C'mon, (my name), is this the way you talk to police?" I just said I will just check with my local SSA office here where I live and then hung up on him. He made it sound SO OFFICIAL giving me his ID number, but, the whole time we were talking you could hear all kind of voices in background like when you're talking with a telemarketer!! I don't believe SSA would call you personally about this before sending mail communication FIRST!! BIG SCAM!!

I received 3 calls in a row from the phone number 4104415161. They called my house phone I got a recording that said that my social security benefits would be terminated if I didn't call back. I called the number back and spoke with someone with a foreign accent. I asked them why the Ohio Social Security wasn't calling me about the matter instead of the number they were calling from. I then got hung up on.

My son received 20 phone calls today (the audio on his phone is broken so he can only use it to text). He asked me to call to find out what the caller needed. I called and the person answering had a strong accent and said he was with the Social Security Administration. I could not understand what he was saying very well. He asked for some information so he could pull up my son's file and he claimed my son had multiple instances of fraudulent activity and they were going to deactivate his social security card. I did not find out what they wanted in return- I just told them I was reporting them.

They claim that they "have got an order to suspend my social security number at this very moment because they have found many suspicious activities on my social". Before they go ahead and suspend my number they say to call them back on the phone number 972-591-8422 or 774-408-8626.

However they requested $3500 dollars to "to not suspend my social security number". i checked with the real social security admin, and they had no idea what I was talking about. The scary part is that these people had my name and my social security number, and I have no idea how they got the information. I'll be buying lifelock from this point forward.

Received an automated robo call indicating my benefits were going to be suspended effective immediately. Recording indicated additional information could be obtained by call 1(310) 684-3587. Upon calling this number a male individual answered the call stating "Social Security Administration" how can I help you? I informed the individual I was in receipt of a previous call indicating my benefit were to be suspended and I want to conduct a follow-up as to why. The unidentified male stated I would need to provide my social security number in order for him to assist me. I stated I would be willing to verify information the Social Security Office had on file, but I was not willing to provide him with my personal information. The gentleman indicated he was unable to further assist me without my social security number, and the phone call was terminated.

At first he sounded legit but the more he spoke ,I knew it was a scam to get my personal info. Unfortunately I did give him my soc sec number and DOB.
