Voicemail on cell phone from Hortonville, WI, 920-710-1026. Auto-message stated it was the Social Security Administration and that there was suspicious activity on my account and my SS# number has been suspended. The message says to press 1 if you want to hear about it. Didn't respond, but still have it saved on my phone, just in case more info is needed by anyone investigating it.

I continue to get robo-calls from someone claiming to be with the social security administration.

I recieved a call on my cell phone from number 1-800-654-1538. They left a voicemail saying my SS# has been compromised and to call. When I called in from my work phone (a different number) they answered and asked when I received a call.

I said what does that matter?!

They hung up.

I called again from my work number, someone else answered.

I said I just received a message asking me to call this number, what’s it about?

They said it’s your SS# it’s been compromised- and they asked me for my name...

I said you called me aren’t you supposed to have the information?

They then replied I’m looking for

“Angela “ something - that’s not me.

I proceeded to then tell them I’m reporting them to the ScamPulse.com - and they hung up.

Stated I was part of an criminal investigation that involved possible homicide and drug trafficking as well as $89,000 in credit card fraud. He Had my social security number and a previous address. Scammer claimed that us marshalls had been tracking me and phone lines had been tapped. After calling number back at end of call lines became crossed and I could hear another lady/victim on the call. The first one said my social security number was used to open ten different account numbers and they asked me for my social security number but I didn't give it to them. The second call stated my social security number was used to rent a vehicle that was stopped at the S border with 22 pounds of cocain and $50k wired into a bank account with my social security number. They didn't ask for any money they just wanted my social security number.

Social Security Administration calls and tells you to return the phone call as soon as possible. when you do they make it sound honest but all they want is your information by telling you that your benefits are being stopped. They are very personal with there wording. They call at least 2 to 3 times a day each time its a different number. They even give you a warrant number a officer badge #DC7010. IT'S A BIG SCAM. I talk to Social Security and filed a complaint against the caller. And was told to file with the state.

Consumer received a recorded call from stating that they're from the Social Security Administration, stating that their Social Security number has been used fraudulently and that his check will be affected. He called the number back, and a lady answered the phone stating she was from Social Security.

- Mc Arthur, OH, USA

- Pickerington, OH, USA

I was contacted on my cell phone by Social Security Administration at this 1-801-772-1213 number. The female voice stated essentially that they were the social security administration and that my social security number has been suspended and I needed to contact them. Searching online shows the call originated from American Fork, Utah. This is the third time this entity called. The latest call came today April 4, 2019.

- Wethersfield, CT, USA

My company has received calls from this number at least a dozen to over 20 times a day between the hours of 7 to 5. Not sure how many calls are coming in after hours. The call is automated and states that our social security number is under suspension due to criminal activity, and must call this number back to resolve the issue and avoid prosecution. When you call the number back, a middle man will answer, and states that he can only look up the information by social security number. They insist the caller provide their social security number or they may face a warrant for arrest and prosecution. I refused to give a number and asked to be taken off the list. At that point, I was hung up on immediately. I called them five times to ask them to remove the number and each time I've been told they can;t look up the phone number - only the social security number. The last time I called the person who answered asked me "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE ME IF I TAKE YOUR NUMBER OFF? WHAT CAN YOU PAY ME?" At that point I hung up. During each call you can hear a large amount of chatter in the background. These are very rude men with very thick accents.
