Got a "too good to be true" loan offer and the email indicated that they had tried to reach me previously. I researched and found that they aren't reputable.

Hi, Alexis here from CNFI USA. I am following up on your personal loan request for 25000. I wanted to connect you with our loan officer regarding your approval & next steps. Txt END to opt out. Otherwise, do you have few minutes now to talk?

If you no longer need the 25000 just let me know.

- West Point, NY, USA • May 27, 2025

They said this: Hi *my name*, I don't want to bother you. This is CNFI USA reaching out again to review options regarding your personal loan for $39,000. I just need a few minutes. Do you have time now for a quick call? If you no longer need the $39,000 let me know. I appreciate it. This is the third time they’ve messaged me this.

The person called and offered an approved loan but required my DOB and SSN before they could tell me how I was approved and initially the company name. She was extremely reluctant to provide the name. After the call, I thought maybe the information was leaked from a company I am working with currently with the same name. I told her to hold let check BBB, after a few minutes she hung up. She said her company is in Irvine CA, but her phone showed that she was out of Woodburn, OR.

Multiple text messages from (888) 319-8486 asking about a loan i never applied for. They want to call me, more than likley to to get info from me

- Lafayette Hill, PA, USA • May 21, 2025

Received numerous calls from random numbers (most likely spoofed) and always left the same automated message about a loan offer that no one requested or is interested in. Call back number is not the same number that showed up in caller id. “hey this is Trevor Banks with the approval department. I'm reaching out because you've been prequalified for a personal loan of $60,000. Your estimated payment to be about $300 a month. Call me back at 866-450-7776”. This call came from 585-575-9833

I receive multiple calls per day from the company trying to get me to finalize a loan i did not apply for and never asked the company for

- Washington, DC, USA • May 20, 2025

I get incessant calls from hundreds of spoofed numbers claiming to be Liberty Loans. I would say anywhere from 10-20 per day. This is insane... I can't block all the numbers because they change every time, although I've tried. Funnier, the number called does not match the VM number. HELP!

- Pearl River, NY, USA • May 14, 2025

Another pre-approval loan offer by female voice, asks recipient to call 855 535 0094 to talk to underwriting dept. She blurted out the number very fast, had to replay recording several times to get it. Caller ID shows location above.

I’m being bombarded with daily calls from this “company” that identifies as Easy Loan Solutions. I have never applied for a loan through them, although they claim I have. No matter how many times I block their number or request to be added to their do not call list, I’m contacted the next day from a new number. They wish to confirm my information to help me with my loan - NOT HAPPENING. Truly the most frustrating scam, I have no idea how they got my number to contact me but I’m at my wits end.

- Shamokin, PA, USA • May 13, 2025

calls me up to 5-10 times a day from multiple numbers, using company name "Easy loan solutions" When told them stop calling, they used profanity at me calling be names. Told me **** you, even called me back and when I answered, told me **** ** **** This so-called company is a disgrace and harassing me. Calling from 224-341-1769; 216-497-3563; 928-392-9759; 610-922-3609; 870-697-6806; 610-936-1772; 385-874-0746; 612-556-1571; 844-581-2907; 570-379-5206; 570-379-5812; 863-880-5634; 364-213-3979; 970-868-0990; 667-428-1312; 445-263-5146; 551-758-4208; 615-450-0042; 331-317-5975 So, as you can see, I have been harassed for several days/weeks and I am tired of it.

calls from different numbers few times a day with a call back number sometimes with a reps name all saying a loan I have applied for has been approved call back urgently or call back and press 9 to be removed so I called from one of the last payphones in the country the line says agents cannot remove you number you must press 9. I waited for an agent they say the number has been approved and I argue with them about how to remove numbers from the list one upset rep says 9 is not the way I said your automated messages says 9 this is a scam stop calling all he says the business is Tax Group LLC I do not believe that either. I had to call three times from the pay phone to get an answer

They will text and call you saying you are approved and that the underwriter needs additional information so they can issue the funds to your account. They state they need to confirm the identity for verification of deposit

- Brooklyn, NY, USA • May 05, 2025

Samantha from Easy Loan Solutions finds a new way to contact me despite blocking all the numbers she's called me from,

- Brooklyn, NY, USA • May 05, 2025

“Samantha” from Easy Loan Solutions calls incessantly that I’ve been approved for a loan that I never applied for. I have never answered but it is incredibly annoying. Each time I report the number I get called from a new one.

- Schwenksville, PA, USA • Apr 29, 2025

They call from all different numbers from PA and NY - maybe other states too but i always block the number once they call. They leave a voicemail "... speak with us and finalize your application press one now, if you wish to proceed with this officer, be aware that our agents cannot process opt out request. you may press 9 to be removed. keep in mind your $ loan amount offer expires at the end of April... call us back at 888-324-9444..." I have called me up to 5 times a day. Leaving similar messages each time with different loan amounts. I called them back 3 times so far and asked to be removed from their call list. As soon as I ask for confirmation on being removed, or where they got my information from they hang up on me.

- Alexandria, VA, USA • Apr 28, 2025

Same as the original commenter. They call every day from different numbers claiming "there an update to my $25,000 consolidation loan preapproval" Always from Samantha. In my research the reviews on trust pilot all said that this company will send you a fake check once it gets your bank info, then request for you to send it back. They also ask for lots of other personal info, hack into your email and change all your passwords so you can log into anything or stop anything.
