The scammer got my ssn from a paper stolen from my home in Ohio. So he called spoke in Spanish and English her then said her is collecting assets that belongs to America then my phone went blank and when it booted up my money was out of my account.

Voicemail left said "Hi this is Stacey Barber calling from National Asset Management in regards to a complaint that has been filed against either you, your social, or someone associated with this phone number. I need an immediate call back from either you or your legal representative today at 804-305-2174, that number again is 803-305-2174." with a rude "Good Luck!" at the end. I did not call the number.

I was called by an automated representative named Stacy Barber, claiming to be from National Asset Management. It was important to them that my legal representative or I call them back as soon as possible. Someone had filed a complaint under me, or my social security number, or phone number.

Like all the other reports, I got the exact same voicemail from Stacey saying the exact same script including the snarky "Good luck!" at the end. I called the spoofed local number that called me, not the 844 number they gave. It went to NAM and the person who answered asked for a Liam Hunter. I am not that person nor do I know anyone by thay name. My number has not belonged to anyone else for nearly three decades. The person I spoke to said they would remove it. I have ended up on some data list because I get these calls (and sometimes text messages) about old debt every so often. I only called back because an immediate family member died recently and I wasn't sure if it were related. Otherwise, DO NOT CALL THEM! DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY OR AGREE TO ANYTHING! There is a loophole which allows "businesses" to collect on unenforceable debt that is past the statute of limitations. Often, there isn't any debt at all. If there is old debt that was never paid, but past the statute of limitations a court cannot force you to pay or file a judgement. No matter what these scammed say, nothing will happen. If they show up on a credit report, write to the credit bureau and ask them to verify the debt with the agency. They won't be able to because the debt is no longer valid which legally requires the credit bureau to remove it from your credit history. Please Google this information for your state, you'll find this information to be accurate minus any laws or regulations specific to your state. For most states this is universal.

I am an overnight nurse that missed a phone call from an unknown number while asleep. The voicemail that I received from that phone call is as followed: "Hi. This is Stacy Barber calling from National Asset Management in regards to a complaint that has been filed against wither you, your social or someone associated with this phone number. I need an IMMEDIATE call back from either you or your legal representative today at telephone number 844-305-2174 again the telephone number is 844-305-2174. Good luck!" At first I thought it might have been a legitimate claim until the very condescending good luck at the end of the message.

I blocked the number and did not call back.

I checked my credit report and there is not anything against me with this company.

The voicemail was "Hi. There are so many red flags in this voicemail it's actually comical. I hope no one falls for this.

The attach was also an extension of 112 the attach was a case number xxx-xxxxx. You do have the legal right to be transferred to your case manager by pressing one you have officially been notified.
