Using the job search engine Handshake. Listed a position for Data Entry. Did not contact via phone, only email. Asked to complete a Microsoft survey for career questions. Then within a couple days sent a job offer. The offer felt like it was generated with AI. Over explanation of details. Offered to send a check to pay for a technology package needed to be used for work. Would discuss which one to pick once the check goes through my bank. Then I would order the computer myself. Once the equipment package is received, then I would start my onboarding process and finally meet my supervisor and team.

Was approached on Handshake (University-approved job hunting website and with the same message the other person who had reported this got. A "remote data entry clerk role for 35/hr from the name "Grubb Christian".
