I got a voice mail from a person who identified themselves as calling from Franklin and Miller and that I am being sued in civil court for the sum of $2000 and that I am to call their office at 888-834-3981 to prevent wage garnishment and or a lien on my car. I was given a number starting with a C---------, they went on to say that the claim has not been filed yet and someone will be showing up at my door with court paperwork. I called and gave my last name only and the person on the phone claimed to be an attorney and was very angry and short when I asked what is this about....I stated that it was a scam and that they should not contact me again..... the person got more angry...... I looked up my info for any civil suits filed and there were none. Essentially they are trying to scam people out of money by using scare tactics of court and or someone coming to your address.
