Type of a scam Phishing
Got call from blocked phone number, they left a message to call them back on a court appearance for my disabled brother. Claiming to represent a lawyer Michael H. with Potter Co Processor, and to call 855-926-1728 to have the documents served to my disabled brother. After looking up this phone number, the authorized Potter Co Processors and calling Potter Co. The phone number is not attached to any lawyer's office, this lawyer's name is not listed as an authorized county processor, and the case file is invalid for Potter county, civil and criminal. Very convincing scam. Please beware!!!
The case number they gave me was verified by the county as not a legit number for them.

Type of a scam Debt Collections
An individual called to tell me I was being sued, by a bank I do business with, for some outstanding balance from 2006. He became verbally abusive when I told him that I wasn't playing along with his scam. He called me names, said they were going to garnish wages, and put a lean on my vehicle. The part that scares me is he had all my personal information, as if he had a copy of my credit report in front of him.

Process Server Dallas [email protected] 1-855-619-3766 contacted me by private phone and stated that they are suing me for a debt from 2003--never heard of it. Also, they stated that they attempted to mail me a summons to appear in court but that it was returned--undeliverable. But they have been harrassing me with private calls.

Type of a scam COVID-19
They called my husband multiple times in a row. After he answered a man told him that his wife was being served but they could not serve in person due to COVID-19. And they gave him a case number and a different phone number to call (844-385-0718). 10 minutes later the man called my husband again to urge him to call that phone number ASAP. He threatened to then serve my husband at his place of employment if we did not call. We called the phone number and a man answered the phone stating no company, just his name. he asked to speak with me using my full legal name and asked me to confirm my Social Security number (which he had). I told him that I would not confirm anything, and he hung up on us.
