Left a voicemail stating that he was needing to verify the times between 2-6 today 4/17/24,04/18/2024 that I am to be served with certified papers that are required to be signed for. And if I had any questions, I could call the Issuing agencies office and that's RNJ Mediation group at 866-316-0132.

I got the same call today , exactly as written below

Just got the same exact voicemail. Same call back number too. But the call came from a local number, 909 area code.

Was left a voicemail also from a man named Mike Mason who advised me he would suit me at my work and home about a pending lawsuit. I was to call 833-883-2173 before he arrives to prevent a visit.

They said that they were Representing a Local bank here that was pursuing court for the collection of a check that was written at a local grocery store and bounced. Told me if I went to court it would cost me close to $3000 and they could arrange for a settlement at a lower cost. We spoke for a little while and they said that they got them to take $400. But it was now or never kinda a deal. I told them I didn't have that kinda of money. So they asked if I could use a credit card. I told them I didn't have one that high amount on it. He put me on hold and came back and asked if I could make a deposit on it and he could hold the deal. I gave him $50 from the credit card. He said they needed $250 in April and $100 from me in May. I agreed. but never signed anything saying that I would do this. But I signed and paid $50 and he sent me a copy of a receipt from the Jackson, Avery and Associates heading on the receipt. The check in question was told to me that I made it in July of 1999. And that they have been trying to collect from Collection Agencies since then. I have never heard of this until now. I didn't think anything of it until my wife got a similar call about a check that was written over 20years ago.

Claimed to be a process server with R&J legal group and I was going to be arrested if I didn’t provide a full name , address, date of birth and social security number to verify my identity and I had to pay $5000 or I was going to go to jail.

They left a cut off voicemail describing that if I didn't want legal problems associated with my social security number and "records" I needed to cal their office back. They did not tell me what the legal problem was or their office name. If I was an elderly or vulnerable person I would have been intimidated. They left the number 888-270-9142 to call them back. I googled it and it appears to be a shady debt collection agency. I don't have outstanding debt as far as I am aware. I believe this was an attempt to get me to call and pay a reduced" fee for outstanding debt under coercion.

Was left a voice mail saying they were a process server and needed to serve my ex-husband with official papers. What the papers were wasn’t clear. The woman who left the message mispronounced my ex-husband’s last name.

These people are calling my office and asking for a supervisor to talk about me on this. I answered the phone and told them to come on up here. I’ll be waiting. Of course no one came. Calling from 713-564-5590 number. Sea brook Texas.

This was the second robo call we received of this type. The person in the message identified themselves as Michael and claimed there was legal action against someone at our phone number from the county. They said we could call them at 888-689-5961 or at the number they called us from (971-273-1085) and that this counted as us being officially served.

I have had a similar call last year. Someone claiming to need to come to my home and "serve" me with certified documents I need to sign tomorrow between 3 and 5pm. Gave me the number 8669154307 to call ( which I havent) or they will be by tomorrow. I need two forms of ID tomorrow. We will see. I looked up the number and it seems to trace to China, but the person in the voicemail was a US citizen. They threatened to come by my workplace and would need a security guard to witness my signature. All very strange. Last time I got a similar call. No one came by my house.

Call stating, she was process server Samantha Shields and that she needed to serve me and gave multiple addresses and stated my name and month year of birthday. Then she stated the first 3 of my ssn. Then the call went dead. The number she called from is not going through and not sure what to do. I've searched court records and no civil case she speaks of.

I received a voicemail by somebody under the name of Amber Lynn from supposedly the Virginia Beach county process server office saying that I was to be served papers but the address they had on file for me the summons was returned. She did leave the name of a supposed attorney with a phone number that I did call and nobody answered and they said their office hours in Pacific time. I then went to the Virginia court system website and search my name under every Court and nothing showed up. This is why I believe it to be a scam
