Loan Solicitation - Phishing Scam

Loan Solicitation - Phishing Scam Reports & Reviews – Page 4 (276)

- Philadelphia, PA, USA

I have been contacted daily for over 3 months by a company that is offering to provide a personal loan, they use the same scripted message when they leave a voicemail and they always call from a different number so I can't block them. When I do answer and ask what the name of the company is I am told they are United Lending Union, or Helping Hand Financial or some other lending company. I have verbally requested 4 times to be removed from their call list and have pressed 9 to be added to their Do Not Call list and they still call me everyday. When I ask to speak to a manager they hang up, if I call back the party that answers hangs up instantly. If I ask questions they hang up. At this point this is harassment and I will also be reporting them to the FBI.

New voicemail from +1 645-210-1252 (01:03):

Hi, this is Janet with lending unions West and today is Tuesday, August 12th. We've been trying to reach over the past few days. We just need to touch base with you before moving forward. Everything's nearly approved and ready. We only have a couple of quick items to confirm mainly income related details, which you can also take care of online through the loan portal. If you've got a minute now, press to to speak with me or someone from the underwriting team directly. Disapproval is said to expire soon and you're always welcome to reapply down the road, but I'd love to help you finalize it now if we can. Again to move forward, press two now or give us a call at 855-768-6633.

I cleared my phone of 22 missed calls - all were Lending Union West Coast Branch. Most were "Evelyn", there was also a guy and another female voice that cleared her throat in every message. Trying to reach you, we're almost set etc. to finalize your paperwork. So annoying! They use multiple numbers to call. It's like you can't even block the number because they just use a different one.

Daily I receive calls or voicemails from someone claiming to be from a loan processing team or consolidation team. The caller says they’ve been trying to contact me about a loan application or consolidation offer and need to verify some final details to complete approval, although, I never applied for a loan. I have asked numerous times to be place on the do not call list but the calls keep coming.
