Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to report a scam involving individuals who falsely claim to provide Webroot customer support. The scammers are using the phone number 888-319-8519 and the misleading company name "Easy Way to Cancel or Renew Your Webroot Subscription" to deceive customers. They pretend to assist with Webroot subscriptions and attempt to convince victims to share personal information, banking details, or allow remote access to their computers. Their actions are fraudulent and intended to steal money and sensitive information. I respectfully request that this scam be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to prevent others from becoming victims.

Sincerely,
Christopher Hall

Respected Sir/Madam,

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, I experienced a technical issue with my printer. I used Google Search to look for a customer support number and found the phone number 855-470-4292. Believing this was a legitimate support line, I dialed it.

The person who answered the phone instructed me to sit in front of my laptop computer. They then asked me to grant them remote access to my computer, which I did. Once inside my system, they made various changes to my laptop. After doing this, they claimed that fixing my printer and securing my system would cost $899.

Unaware that this was a fraudulent operation, I provided my credit card information and was charged $899. My daughter later investigated the phone number (855-470-4292) and confirmed that it is associated with a known technical support scam.

I am filing this report to document the fraudulent phone number, the remote access breach, and the financial theft, in hopes of protecting other consumers from falling victim to this scam.

Sincerely ,
Isabella Hall

I would like to report a scam involving an individual impersonating AT&T customer support. The scammer used the phone number 877-370-9285 and claimed to represent "How do you pay your AT&T bill without signing in? Help! Support." I was misled into believing I was speaking with an official AT&T representative regarding my account and bill payment. The caller attempted to obtain my personal and financial information through deceptive tactics. I believe this number is being used fraudulently to impersonate AT&T services and may target other customers. Please investigate this matter and take appropriate action to prevent additional victims from being scammed.

Thank you for your attention to this report.
