I keep receiving calls that my Social Security number has been compromised and to wait on the line. I do not answer the calls. I do not have the phone numbers. I screen calls with my answering machine.

A man called my cell from a number 216-374-1313 claiming to be from SSA and he he tells me I have a warrant for my arrest in Texas for money laundering and drug trafficking. I live in Ohio. He asks me my last 4 digits of my SSN I tell him I'm not giving him any information and he then says "Well I have it anyways " and he reads back my last 4 digits of my SSN. He also reads back my address! I never confirmed to him that was my last 4 digits of my SSN. He says the authorities will be in touch with me about my warrant. I hung up immediately. This is scary. How did he know my last 4 digits of my SSN?

Call me on my phone automated voice stated someone was using my social security number, they needed to talk to me, ask me some questions, if I didn't get in contact with them I would be arrested for letting someone else use my social security number. The automated voice wanted me to dial a number to talk to someone I refused I hung up . Everyday I continued to get these calls no matter If I continue to block the numbers , they continue to call me on a different number.

Consumer was called Friday June 18, 2021 at 11:30pm. Scammer called and said they were with social security and that there had been a security breach on husband's account. She asked them to hold, then they hung up on her.

wanted my Information hence name social address debit or bank info gave me where to send money or deposit in my acct and give them access so they can retrieve payment but once I called my local s/s and told be it was a scam I gave em bogas acct info if any or threatened them.. I blocked over 26 numbers most local maybe 7-8 from my hm twn Midland Dallas San Antonio Austin now I'm getitng govt fraud calls debt collection even I won x amount of money but I have to send x amount in order to receive it some calls are from Texas or unavailable.. finally I just tell em I hid a body or I'm a president even the princess of the united states of Texas of the American Mexico's ppl they hang up I let the local police dept know and sent all #s to post on there website but had to be reported to bbb 1st

I was called by number 808-551-0557 with a Robo-message stating my social security number has been flagged in a federal crime, and press #1 to talk with a Social Security Administrator. The call was then transferred to a live female representative identifying herself as the Social Security Administration. She would not identify herself in anyway other than that by name or employee id # or operator #. It was clear she was not with SSA. I am concerned about unaware elderly being scammed b/c the Robo-call had a legitimate sound, but I know they would never link the number and would be sent official notification and not called. But others don't know this.

I received a phone call from what appeared to be a local call so I answered the call and there was a prerecorded message stating that my social security would be stopped within 24 hours due to fraudulent activities involving myself and I was asked if I would speak with a police officer regarding this matter at this point I hung up the phone.

I have received 5 robo phone calls stating my social security has been compromised. The calls were made from the following numbers: (208) 991-0928, (208) 549-6410, (208) 461-5032 with the name Amy Dulhanty, (208) 639-3558 with the name Dolan LLC.

If you get a call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration and has found your SSN used in a drug trafficking incident in Texas please report them. They will ask for your SSN and other personal information while using fake credentials to try and gain your trust. They will call from multiple numbers from San Antonio, Texas.

I was called and notified that my Social Security number had been suspended due to some transactions dealing with me and a rental car that was supposedly in my name. I was told that there was an arrest warrant out for me due to money laundering and drug related matters.

I received a message on my home answering machine.It sounded like a recorded message. My Social Security number was being suspended. The phone number in my caller ID was 440-504-4245. I called the number. There was no answer.

They tell me that my social security check has been stolen. (I have direct deposit.) They want me to speak to someone to straighten it out. They ask me to send them a gift card or my SS number. They have increased the amount they asked for each time they call. They said they realized I received my stimulus check and have more money available.

I get calls every day from Social Security saying my account was compromised and my number has been shut down. I have pressed one, and they answer Social Security Administration. I have talked to men and women, they all have accents. I've been asked to verify my Social Security number, but I wouldn't. I've been told a sheriff would come to my home unless I paid $4600. When I ask how they are calling using an asphalt company business phone number or an auto service company, they hang up. They call me 3 and 4 x a day.

Just recvd a call from 502-953-5476 funny how almost identical to my number saying they are suspending my social to illegal activity and a fraud police officer comes on the line

I was contacted via an automated system and transferred to a live agent. He claimed to be calling from the Social Security Administration. Adam Williams badge #9246, Case ID TC1002, Warrant Id 537542 ,(478) 200-253 was the number listed. He stated in the Atlanta Georgia my name and SSN were used to obtain a rental vehicle that was abandoned and in an investigation, also that I was under investigation for a rental property that had drugs inside etc. He stated we were being recorded by SSA and the police after trying to verify my information, I asked to be placed on the DNC list and called back to get the call center name and was immediately hung up on.

Caller left a message for consumer saying they were from social security asking to call the legal department or to press one, they did not leave a phone number. I called back the phone number and the phone number was not valid.

I answered a call on my cell phone. The phone number in my caller ID was 216-533-8741. That phone number is similar to mine. The caller said they were with Social Security. They said someone is trying to use my Social Security number. Told me to hold. I hung up.Social Security does not call.
