Social Security Administration Reports & Reviews (951)

Greetings,

I received a voicemail from an automated message stating that if i don't call this number back that legal action would be taken against me. When I called the number a man with a foreign accent answered and said "hello social security administration. can i help you?" I told him that you his office must have just called me and left me a voicemail. He asked for my name, i gave it to him, then he asked for my social security number, i would not give that to him, but I gave him my phone number and told him to look it up in his system. There were clearly other people on the phone talking to others in the background. This person then told me that there has been illegal activity done by me in the state of Texas and they are going to freeze my social security account if I don't "take action now." I told him that he was full of s*** and was a scam artist and that I would be sending the phone number to the authorities. Please warn others about this type of scam so that they do not give their social security number to bad actors over the phone or even attempt to pay bad actors to stop the action taken against their social security account.
