Consumer reported that she received a voicemail from an individual claiming to be with the IRS.  They stated that a lawsuit was being filed against the consumer and instructed her to call 206-204-4739.

Consumer reported that an individual by the name of Susan Brown called her at her home claiming to be with the IRS.  Ms. Brown stated that the IRS had a warrant for her arrest.  Susan Brown shared with the consumer that her "IRN Number" is 1260 and then asked for the consumer's date of birth.

Person contacted me to let me know that mis-filed my taxes and that I owned 2,506 in penalties. They had attempted to contact me 3 times by mail and now I needed to pay the fee. They indicated they were an IRS officer and if I hung up the phone this would indicated that didn't want to work with them and they would be sending an Agent to my home to have me arrested in 30 minutes.

I asked for a reference file I could share with my attorney they provided me TS89654V4.

Received a robo call (caller left voicemail) from 206-319-6368. Message stated, "Hello. This call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information on this case file, please call immediately on our department number. 206-319-6368. I repeat. 206-319-6368. Thank you." I am located in Cincinnati, OH, but my phone number is a northern MI number.

I received a call from phone number 202-621-0639, stating that is was the IRS and that I owed $1874 in back taxes from the year 2010. They told me I faced criminal charges, jail time, foreclosure on my home, etc, if I did not pay. They said they had called my home phone - which we don't have - and sent me several correspondences - which they didn't. I told them I wanted this all in writing - the caller said I could talk to his manager - I said I didn't want to talk to anyone, I wanted this in writing. He stated that he would put it in writing and then hung up. He said his name was David Paul and his Badge number was BR12130.

I got a call from a quick talker saying I owed the IRS $3,192.20. Said if I didn't pay them the Police would come and arrest me. They would also take all my belongings from my house. I started getting really mad. I hung up before I said something I would regret. I'm a really sweet person and want people to treat me as I would treat them.

Received a call from a DC number (202)468-5776 and initially did not answer, and received a voicemail that the IRS had made a final call to collect and requested a call back. After returning the call, a male with poor English asked for my name and I gave a bogus name. and the male recited the caller's address and hung up. The caller immediately called back and received a recording that "the caller was currently not taking any calls at this time."

Got a call from someone calling himself "Kevin Mason" with a heavy accent. The phone no. was 240-514-0158. Said I owed $5,420 in back taxes from 2012 and if I didn't pay the US Treasury today, a police officer would be at my house in 45 minutes to arrest me and I might go to jail for up to 3 years and all my bank accounts would be frozen. He said I got 2 notices from the IRS about it. He gave me a Dept of Treasury ID no. and then hung up.

Two messages were left on my answering that the caller with the Internal Revenue Service and there was a case against me and that I should return their call to 661-413-5323 to take of the matter or legal action would be taken against me. I still have the recordings of the two calls on my answering machine.

ROBO call claiming that I owe back taxes to the IRS. I was given a number 4152595037 to call back. I called that number and spoke with a gentleman with a foreign accent claiming to be from the IRS stating that I had to pay $1000 today or I would be arrested.
