Customer received a call from someone pretending to be with the IRS. Phone number 202-813-5875 regarding lawsuit by IRS. Been getting calls all day from them.

I received an automated message this morning around 7:15am indicating the call was from the IRS. The message indicated that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call 206-451-9863. We have never received a letter form the IRS nor do we owe money at this time. This automated message appears to be fradulent.

I re wives a call from a Washington DC phone number stating it is the IRS and that I had been audited for 2009-2014 and I owed them $ 3320. They said if I disconnected the calk and didn't pay it NOW they would turn it over to my State courthouse and I would be arrested within the next 2 hrs. Have never received any previous notification from the IRS regarding this. I am not sire if this is true or a scam... I need help.

Person called to say that my husband and I owed money to IRS. We had not filled tax form correctly. Do not match their info. Need to pay right then or they would send an officer out to pick us up.

Received an automated call stating I was being sued by the IRS. I called the number back and they said I owed $1022 for the tax years between 2009-2014. They stated there was an arrest warrent out for me and that my identity was "in the red". I was told I needed to go to a CVS Store and purchase two $500 iTunes giftcards (without mentioning IRS to the cashier). Once done, and the card numbers were given to the person on the line (as proof) an officer would arrive to show me the forms I needed to see & sign to revoke the warrant for my arrest. There was an additional $600 "penalty" applied as well for the arrest warrent.

this person has called me at least 15 times now they never talk i always is a machine who speaks weather its voice mail or it is when i answer the phone caller ID says this person is calling from sunnyside, WA the number is 509-790-0354 and they claim that they are the IRS and they are going to file a law suit against me which is obviously a scam im only 16

womans computerized voice saying she was calling from the irs . she said she needed to talk to (my husband) or his lawyer or drastic measures would be taken. She said her name was Micky or Nicky Johnson and gave a phone number that didn't work.

Received call today from #646-740-0186. Saying they were the IRS and I owned them money and will prosecute me if I don't pay them. I hung up and called them back blocked my number first and they hung up on me when I started asking them questions. Back round noise sounded like a telemarketing room.

Caller said she was from IRS but answered the phone without identifying herself. I was calling in response to voicemail.A lot of talking in the background. Caller had very heavy accent. Told her to mail info to me and asked her to verify my address but she never did and kept saying hold on. I hung up and no one called back.

Voice mail was a man. He left a broken up message stressing i had to call back today. Sounded like robo message.

Phone number ID was Washington DC but not IRS. Number is 202/864-1833.

IRS scam. A recording left on my answering service saying it was the last time they would get a hold of us, and that they were bringing a law suite against us. To call them back at .206-822-2239. I never returned the call.

Consumer reported that she received a voicemail from an individual claiming to be with the IRS.  They gave the consumer a file number and asked them to return her call.  The individual asked the consumer to call them back using the phone number 206-317-9442.

On 2/02/2016 l received two calls from Washington D.C. (202)-499-9120 .The first one at 9:46 AM and the second one at 3:20 PM . A voice message was left with the second phone call ,stating that they were from the IRS and were filing a lawsuit if l didn't call back .it was a female voice,speaking very good English.
