I just received a call on my cell phone from a caller claiming to represent the Social Security Administration. The caller said my ss # had been used for fraudulent activity in my area and they wanted to discuss the activities with me before seizing my assets and suspending my ss#.

I was instructed to "punch" or dial 1 to continue the call. I immediately hung up. This sounded extremely wrong to me. I looked on the ScamPulse.com website and found this to be a current scam. Please take care and do not discuss your personal info with any caller like this.

I received an unknown number phone call from Colorado on my cell phone. I let the call go to voicemail and then listened to the message. The message was a robotic voice claiming to be with the Federal Crime and Investigation Department of the Social Security Administration stating that my Social Security Number was suspended and under criminal investigation. I still have the voicemail on my phone if it is required as evidence for investigations.

A robocall says it's from the Social Security Administration, says that your social security number has been suspended because of (bad) activity detected, and if you want to find out more, press "1" to continue. (I hung up at that point. I received an identical call from another number last week, I blocked both but didn't record the second number.)

Got a phone call from this number.. It was an automated voice telling me that my social security number had been reported for fraudulent activity and that I should call back immediately before this is reported to the US Treasury department and I go to jail. I didn't call back cause I knew it was a scam and blocked the number. But wanted to report it quickly so that they are shut down before they dupe some elderly people out of money.
