I ordered 2 jackets from Cedar and Ash for around $45 and used my debit card. A few days later I noticed a charge on my card for $29.99 from BrookanDash.(same company as Cedar and Ash, I was told) I called the number and complained, she said it was for a membership and shipping. I told her I do not want a membership and this was a one time order and already had paid for the jackets and shipping. I said I want a refund! She said she could not do that. After arguing with her, telling her what a scam this was, she said I will get a $14.99 refund within 3-10 business days. I have not gotten the jackets yet or the refund.

An ad popped up on my phone while on a game and it looked exactly like LL Bean, a long time high-quality company I’ve done business with for decades. I didn’t think at the time about it being a pop-up ad and attempted to purchase something. Usually, I close out of social media and go to the website directly, but for some reason I did not. It was not L.L. Bean at all. It was a fraudulent company only showing on my bank statement as Pcabnet. I reported the fraud to my bank and they are handling it. I continue to get the pop-up ad and even if you click on the links, it all is made to look like L.L. Bean but it is not.

I placed an order online, buy 2 get 2 free. Each package was to have 60 gummies in each. When the product was delivered I received 2 packages with 60 gummies in each and a note saying they didn’t have the smaller packs so o received the larger ones with the amount purchased. I received half the amount ordered.

When I tried to cancel the subscription I wasn’t aware I signed up for I was told they were having technical difficulties and not able to process my cancellation at that time, April 9, 2025. I have sent over a dozen emails asking for an update only to receive w the same response. I cancelled my credit card so I wouldn’t be billed again, I was still billed. It is now May 10, 2025 and I’ve cancelled my credit card for the second time and have submitted a dispute for the charge on my account. They do not have a phone number to contact the company, take days to respond via email and have no way to cancel anything online.

Jodeci Bagett and her cousins Trae and Jay are running a sneaker scam in Houston Texas. Her mom Monica Garcia also has a hand in it. They made a deal that I would give her 150 and receive shoes at my location. I sent the 150 and never reduced the shoes and on top of that Jodeci Bagett threatened me when I confronted her about the scam online.

I responded to an ad for a 8 by 20 modified Saturn shipping container on FB marketplace. I paid for the unit and the shipping all at once. The first clue that something was wrong was that when they sent the bill it came up as Soothing Touch Massage. I asked the contact person about this and she said it was another business their umbrella corporation owned. It took several tries on their end to get things sorted but everything went through. Things were fine and they kept in contact with me until I asked to have my unit delivered. First they said someone would get back to me right away with a shipping invoice and then I never heard from them again. I tried to contact all the people I had talked to multiple times over the next week before finally filing to get my money back. I still have not received a dime back. I paid for this two months ago.

A female by the name Carrie Walls advertising custom acrylic nails on TikTok, never sent me my nails. She request customers to send it friends and family on PayPal. I waited over a month and never received my nails. Now Im learning that this is common for her. She advertised her business and does lives saleing her custom nails as a buisness. I have learned she has no business license and her work area is definitely a health violation. I ask her for a refund and she said no. I told her i never received them and she said oh well, buy some more and I will send them. I told her no and she started making fun of me on her live to everyone.

I received an unrecognized charge on my credit card by AIYTECH WANCHAI. I looked the company up online and discovered that it is a known scam company. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They issued a refund and new card. They also recommended that I report the scam to my local BBB, which I did.

I talked to a person at an eyecare insurance company. I called 469-502-2238 and they told me about how I can get lenses, frames for a certain amount. They asked for my credit card and bank statement so they can withdraw the money for the products each month. They took money out of my bank account. They gave me a member ID saying I can use that if I wanted to go before the paperwork came in. They said it would 7-10 days before I received anything. I gave them my PO Box. I thought about it because I didn't get a hold of them again so that I could go get my glasses. Then I realized this might be a scam and found out it was a scam.

I paid for a IQ test result and was told that it would be .99. No where I read said that I had to pay for a subscription. If it had I would not have agreed. It said pay .99 and get results. I did and a week later I am charged for a subscription. They will give no refund and state that it said I was signing up for a subscription, which it did not. Who knows how many other people have lost money for the same reason.

Saw a Facebook add for nebula to evaluate the compatibility of my partner and myself. The fee was $1. I paid the $1 and carefully checked to make sure there was no hidden subscription that I needed to cancel. I could not find any evidence of a subscription, so I went on with my life. 1 week later, I was charged $45 for a subscription. I again went to the app, as well as my phone settings but could not find any evidence of a subscription. I emailed support, and they told me I have to file a claim with PayPal. PayPal denied my claim. I have emailed support repeatedly, and they are refusing a refund, even with screenshot proof of no subscription.
