Robo message stating that the IRS is suing me. I called back and after I challenged the caller who requested my social security number, the caller hung up. I then reported the call to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.

I was called on Wednesday afternoon at 117pm, and a message was left on my home phone.

I was told that the IRS was suing me and that I needed to call 701-516-0850 immediately on the voicemail message.

I did not call this number. I googled the number on the internet; scam number from North Dakota.

I just wanted ScamPulse.com in Memphis to be aware of this scam claiming to be the IRS.

I have received multiple calls about this. Two this morning. I know that this is a scam but wanted to report it. My brother is a CPA and told me the IRS would never call you. They would send mail.

I received two voice mail messages and talked to one person. They called from 812-239-5976 and from 710-516-0890. They said the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me if I did not contact them back.

Received a voicemail message on my cell phone that the Internal Revenue Service is filing a lawsuit against me and that I needed to contact the number listed above immediately. It was an automated message.

I recd a call this morning at 9:15 AM - it was on my voice mail. The woman stated this is the final notice, we have tried to contact you. This is the IRS and I just hung up. My husband & I have recd these phone calls on 5 different occasions with the same information.

Phone call to a cell phone was received at 11:40 am on 5/12/16. A recorded message stated this was the last attempt at contact with me and that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to call 970-417-0971.

I recd a call at 11:40 AM this morning from a recording -- a robot call that stated they were from the IRS and they have been trying to reach you and they were going to sue us. We did not respond and we did not take down the ph. no. We just hung up.

I have received calls saying that I owe money on my taxes. I have been on disability since 1993 and haven't worked in 16 years. They said that I owed back taxes from 2009-2014. They said they would issue a warrant for my address at one point and also said they would put a hold on my bank account. When I asked for a supervisor they hung up on me.
