My husband recd three calls yesterday on his cell ph. at 10:30 AM, 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM.

I received 3 "robo-calls" today stating I needed to return a call to speak to an IRS representative. After the first call at 10:14 a.m., I returned the call and told the person who answered that I knew they were not from the IRS and they should not call me again. After the second call at 12:53 p.m., I called and requested information from them but was disconnected. I called back two more times befor getting a name, address, badge number, and job title. I submitted the information to the FTC and the IRS. Since then, I received another robo-call at 2:04 p.m.

Today, May 12, 2016 I have received 2 voicemails from this phone number. The first one says that I'm being sued by the IRS and I need to call this number back immediately. The 2nd one says that it is my last chance to call them back before the lawsuit will be processed. I called them back at the number and the lady that answered had a foreign accent and said "thank you for calling the internal revenue service, this is officer Sarah, how can I help you. I simply told them, I know this is not the IRS and please stop calling me, the person on the other end of the line just hung up.

I redialed the number and got through to a person and warned them that they were a scam/fraud and that i was going to report the number as a fraud. I know from the news, that the IRS informs people by MAIL not a call from a cell phone.

I received a call from the above number claiming that I owe the IRS 6890.00. They demanded a payment immediately or I'd be arrested in the next two (2) hrs. I googled the number and it was associated with Japanese. I spoke with three (3) people and they were all Japanese. I told them that I would send the money by mail if they would provide me with an address. They wouldn't give me one. they said that it had to be payed today by a federal electronic bank draft. I was not in compliance so they promised to have me arrested. That was the end of the conversation.

In their messages, they indicated that they were going to arrest me for the IRS and that they are filing a lawsuit against me. They said it was the final notice and that I was to call the numbers. I did not call them back. I called the ScamPulse.com instead.
