Received a call from 860-202-4658. A message was left on our answering machine, today and yesterday. The message said we should call the phone number 860 202 4658 because the IRS was filing a lawsuit and today was the last day we could call to settle this before going to court.

I recd a call this morning at 10:08 AM and there was a voice msg on my answering machine that stated I am from the IRS and we are trying reach you and they were going to file a suit against me. I spoke w/a man that had a heavy foreign accent and I could not understand him. I asked him to speak with someone with English as a first language. He started hitting some numbers on his ph and we were disconnected.

I received 3 "robo-calls" today stating I needed to return a call to speak to an IRS representative. After the first call at 10:14 a.m., I returned the call and told the person who answered that I knew they were not from the IRS and they should not call me again. After the second call at 12:53 p.m., I called and requested information from them but was disconnected. I called back two more times befor getting a name, address, badge number, and job title. I submitted the information to the FTC and the IRS. Since then, I received another robo-call at 2:04 p.m.

My husband got a call on his cell phone. They left a number and said they were suing us and to call. I called the number and they kept asking my name. I asked who they were and who they were trying to reach. They would not tell me who they were or who they were trying to reach. The guy hung up on me.

I recd a call this morning at 9:15 AM - it was on my voice mail. The woman stated this is the final notice, we have tried to contact you. This is the IRS and I just hung up. My husband & I have recd these phone calls on 5 different occasions with the same information.

Robo message stating that the IRS is suing me. I called back and after I challenged the caller who requested my social security number, the caller hung up. I then reported the call to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.
