They are on the doordash website and app also the instacart website and app once you pay your money and try to contact the actual business they will try everything they can to prevent you from getting in contact with like they're doing me right now as i am trying to place this report and they will keep targeting you

I was shopping on DoorDash for a PlayStation 5 and a madden game to go with it well I purchased it and then canceled it cuz I knew I needed to save money so I tried to cancel it but they wouldn’t let me when it arrived they said I could return the items in store and get a refund so I went to the store had them scan the code then returned the items and got the receipt well I sit there to see if my money was going back on my card and DoorDash said I wasn’t eligible for refund so they went to the higher ups and I still didn’t get a refund or my items back because I had returned them and instead of sending the money back to my card bestbuy sent the money back to the dasher card who had shopped for my items and I spoke to customer service about it and they said they couldn’t give me store credit because they had already sent the payment back to the dasher that I’ll have to take it up with DoorDash so I look on my app and the items I returned to the store changed to a lesser value so I reach out to y’all to get help

Yes, fake orders are being made, with fake payments and the restaraunts are losing money and the drivers are not getting paid properly.

Drivers are being sent out to fake address so thst the order can be paid through a cybercrime account

I was picking up a doordash order from a restaurant, the restaurant said the item wasn’t available, so I called the customer to tell her. A man answered and told me he was Preston with doordash and that he had made that bogus order and that he would call me right back to explain what was going on. He immediately called back and said they were trying to verify doordash drivers because something about people were letting family members use their accounts to pick up orders. He said he had to verify that I was actually a real doordash driver, he needed to verify my phone number and email, then he would send to my email verification codes that he needed me to read back to him, which I did. That was Thursday night. Monday (pay day) I was making my first delivery but the app wouldn’t let me close the order. I called doordash support who helped me close that delivery and they said I could move on to the next offer. As soon as we hung up I was kicked out of the app and tried to sign back in but I couldn’t. It said my username and password were invalid. I then called doordash support right back and I remembered what had happened Thursday and they immediately said it was a scam. They tried to help me change my password but nothing would work. I called my bank but the payment never came through even though doordash had sent it. The scammer had changed my information earlier that morning to his bank account. Later that night the scammer called me back to ask what the problem was , why wasn’t I working because he could see I had scheduled time to be out delivering. I told him he scammed me , he said that’s impossible. I said I would call doordash to verify him, he said something? and hung up. Three days later(Thursday) someone in doordash was able to help me get back into my account , I changed my password and bank information and was told he would no longer be able to get into my account because I changed my password. I started working again and kept checking my information to make sure it was still my information. Monday morning I checked my account at 9:01 am, everything was still my information. Checked it again about 20 minutes later but I couldn’t get into my account, it said username and password were invalid. Immediately called doordash support and they added this new issue which they sent to the escalation department and I have to wait for them to email me ( that’s the only way they communicate to you). Doordash had sent me an email when the scammer changed my information and said if I wasn’t the one who hanged my account information that I should log in and change my password immediately which I tried to do but I couldn’t, it just says my username and password are invalid. Still haven’t been contacted by doordash, (8:40 pm).

DoorDash is promoting a free trial/subsequent annual subscription for “DashPass.”

The deal sounded good, so I was considering the offer. I did a comparison using a chain restaurant called Urbane Cafe. I checked the menu prices for their sandwiches ($10.95-$12.95 range) on the Urbane Cafe website, and compared to the DoorDash prices for the same. Every sandwich cost an additional $4+, a whopping 27% markup on every item on the menu for the ‘Free Delivery’ using the 9.99mo/$89/yr subscription to DoorPass. I believe this is a scam to ripoff consumers who think they’re getting a good deal, and in actuality, are paying for an excessive markup on orders. For 2+ people, that markup pays for the delivery charge; and anything else ordered is greedy profit at almost a 1/3 of the price of each item. Who do they think they are? The oil industry? The pharmaceutical industry?

I’m so sick of the American taxpayer, and as Customers no less, getting monetarily screwed every way they turn.
