I received a call from 814-386-8127 saying I owed $900 o the IRS and if I did not pay an officer would be at my house today. They said I had to pay over the phone with a Green Dot moneycard to avoid jail. Luckily my son found out and stopped me.

I was initially contacted by this company posing as the IRS saying that they had misplace some of my documents and that I should send copies of the documents to them. So, I sent them in to the address they had provided me by phone which was in Austin, Texas. Then on yesterday 05/12/2016 I was called by the same people saying they would put a warrant out for my arrest if I did not pay $300 to them immediately. So, I paid money to them using an Itunes gift card because that's the only way they said they could accept payment. Then they called me again saying that the amount that I paid earlier only put the warrant on hold. So I paid an additional $200 which they said cancelled the warrant. At this time they are continuing to contact me through my mobile phone.

I received a robo-dial which left a grammatically incorrect voicemail stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I receive the same call from a number (which I deleted) based in California the week before with the same robo-message. When I called the CA number back last week after hours it went to a dead line. When I called the Maryland number back today they claimed to be the IRS and started probing for information. I provided none, as I would assume the IRS would have all my info on file. I then hung up on the Indian man who answered the line. I have do not believe lawsuit but gave them no chance to inform me of the monetary value they were looking to levy.

Had a message from this number 662-715-0529 claiming to be the IRS. I called back from my cell, so he asked me for my telephone number and I gave it (figuring it was public information anyway). So, he asked if I was ........ and I said yes. He then asked my address and I said yes. I knew it was a scam from the beginning, but I just wanted to see how they would try to get info out of me. It was a foreign accent with plenty noise in the background. I finally told the scammer that I was not giving anymore information and I demanded him to tell me why the IRS was filing suit against me and asked why I did not receive any certified letters in the mail notifying me of taxes that I may have owed. He actually told me that if I hung up I would pay the consequences. I demanded an explanation! As he put me on hold, I googled the number and saw it was involved in many scams. When I heard noise in the background again, I immediately heard a dial tone. He hung up on me. I just want to report this information and hopefully this can be stopped. It is a disgrace that this is going on and has not been stopped yet. I hope these people who robbed so many people get caught and are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Thank you

I a recd a call at 1:00 this afternoon -- it was a recording. The man said he was Officer Steve Parker was w/the IRS. If I did not call back, I was going to be arrested. I did not return the call.

number was left on my answering machine, I called and as soon as I heard the Indian accent. I knew it was a scam, but stayed on the line. They hung up on me 3 times when I complained about the noise behind them The 4th time I called I got a Indian accented Paul Davis, who after I gave a wrong phone number and asked ALOT of questions, he hung up on me,,After awhile I called back got the same Paul Davis who told me to go F--- myself. That made me laugh and I asked him if he kissed his mother with that potty mouth and finally I hung up...SO I though I should list this scam with you. All I have is a phone number. But you guys go have some fun with them. Maybe you can get Mr. Potty Mouth.....Thank You

I did not know who was calling so a friend called the 909 number and the person answered, " This is the Internal Revenue Office," so she immediately hung up.
