Letter received from my "lender" for my mortgage, About an allocation waiver that they can revoke after 7 days of the notice. This is the first letter I received like this and yet it was the FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY me and listed phone number 888-467-3210 to call M-F 8-5 pm PST No Saturdays. The voucher was for $199, not signed and no banking info on the bottom

Home Warranty Division - had my bank information, Final Notice at top with a bar code and customer ID. This has been consistently sent to my mailing address and seem legitimate, signed by a program director - Wade Grant. There was a number provided as 1-888-404-4504.

Scan letter in mail.

I received a letter in the mail that looks and reads very official stating that it is a final notice to respond to renew my Home Warranty. Among other things it says that "Failure to call and prevent a potential lapse in coverage could result in you being liable for all costs associated with any home repairs.... " At the top it reads FINAL NOTICE in all-caps and bold and ask to respond immediately by calling 1-888-404-4504. It is signed by Wade Grant, Program Director. This letter has an urgency tone and would make anyone, especially elderly people, fear their home warranty has expired. It was addressed specifically to me and has my personal information which made it seem legitimate. It uses a customer ID number and has a bar code as if its a government document. I did not give them any money but please look into this to possibly save someone else the heartache

trying to extend a warranty on all home mechanical system. there is no warranty in existence on anything in the house. THey had names and address and had assigned coded ID to the postcard to make it seem like something offical.

Received letter today, 1/30/25, from anonymous company asking me to renew a non-existent home warranty or initiate a new one. The company soliciting my business has no name, and although I just received the letter in today's mail, they tell me that the "expiration date" is tomorrow, 1/31/25. Here is the text of the letter: Home Warranty Division Private and Confidential 2025 Important Notice CUSTOMER ID: ********** EXPIRATION DATE: 1/31/2025 ***RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED*** ATTENTION [REDACTED POTENTIAL VICTIM NAME] It is important you contact our office at 1-888-928-1981 upon receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delay in your coverage before 1/31/2025. This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at [REDACTED POTENTIAL VICTIM ADDRESS], may be expiring or has already expired. Our records indicate that you have not contacted us yet to get your Home Warranty up to date. Please call immediately as this will be our final attempt to notify you about activating your Home Warranty. Failure to call and prevent a potential lapse in coverage could result in you being liable for all costs associated with any home repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate a warranty on your home before it's too late. Mailer included county, closing date, id and amount of recent mortgage along with lender name.

Stated they’d been trying to reach me regarding a matter of importance as it relates to my mortgage.

Called the automated line and confirmed mortgage id and entered some ‘no’ responses to some medical questions and halted when asked to confirm a number where I can be reached. I took a second look at the doc and considered the automated communication and figured it was a scam.

Home Warranty is about to expire and failure to call will result in a lapse of coverage - expiration date 1/20/25. Don't know what state or country it came from as none is listed.
