Home Warranty Division Reports & Reviews (248)

- Honolulu, HI, USA

Received a letter that has Final Notice printed at the top center of the page with Home Warranty Division typed in upper left corner. This is the second time we've gotten this same letter. Their contact phone number is shown as 1-888-760-1910 which we didn't call. The letter says 2024 FINAL NOTICE, Lender Info: Classified For Privacy. The letter is trying to induce a sense of urgency to contact them before a stated expiration date which just happens to be today. It's a phishing scam as there is no legit company name listed -- only Home Warranty Division at the top of the page.

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

Letter received stating final notice with the name of Lender Info:Caliber Home Loans pretending to be this company. This is a fraud scam used against older home owners in an effort to confuse and scare home owners into buying something from them using fraudulent means. The fake notice state 2024 FINAL NOTICE.

- Manson, WA, USA

I received a letter in the mail telling me that my property's home warranty maybe expiring or has expired.

It recommends that I call 1-888-404-4504 to activate our Home Warranty.

Wade Grant is the name identified as the Program Director at the phone number given above

- Billings, MT, USA

Threatening to discontinue my home warranty. Claiming this is the final notice/final attempt to contact me, but have never received any previous contact.

- Harvest, AL, USA

Received letter from Home Warranty Division saying property's home warranty "may be expiring" and gave a customer id. Said to call to prevent lapse in coverage. I do not have a home warranty unless someone has gotten one in my name. I did NOT call. Letter was signed:

Wade Grant

Program Director

1-888-404-4504

- Concrete, WA, USA

For over 5 years these people have been attempting to scare me into paying for first automobile warranty and now home warranty coverage. I NEVER contacted them, nor have I ever responded to any of their scare tactics. I am reporting this in hopes that these jerks will be stopped from scaring people into purchasing something that will not help them but simply take their money.

In the past I simply tossed the notices but today I finally decided enough is enough and am filing this complaint.

I have scanned the letter and will gladly upload it to you so can see from the letter that they do not indicate where they are located. Even the envelope has no return address.

- Gold Bar, WA, USA

I received this letter in the mail that sounded like my home warranty had or will expire. If this was someone not reading the letter details, they could be easily scammed. Letter said FINAL NOTICE, RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUIRED. Signed Wade Grant Program Director. They put my personal address and my Closing Agent name in the letter.

- Boaz, AL, USA

I have received 10 FINAL NOTICE letters in the mail with only an 888 phone # and no return address listed. Letter is written in a threatening tone.

- Marysville, WA, USA

As stated by the previous reporter, received a very official looking letter in the mail stating "Final Notice" and that if I fail to contact them my lapse in service coverage would be my responsibility. We purchased the house and at no time was a home warranty mentioned.

- Auburn, WA, USA

- Bothell, WA, USA

Received the same letter as original poster from "Wade Grant". I did not call/respond.

- Voorhees, NJ, USA

I've received multiple letters indicating that my home warranty is about to expire or has expired. The mortgage holder identified in the letter is not my current mortgage company I called to correct the information and to say I didn't want coverage. I was then told I would be in default.

- Woodcliff Lake, NJ, USA

Scam claiming lapse of home insurance coverage. There is NO such lapse.

- Hudsonville, MI, USA

Sent notice in mail about expiring home warranty with contact phone number. It was labeled as a final notice with an expiration date of 10/15.

I did not call the number as it was an obvious scam, but I’m sure people are often fooled by this.

- Young America, MN, USA

Listed a falsified expiring home warranty using information from the public record. Listed "Final Notice" for "Home Warranty Division" of an unspecified company. Instructed to "Please respond immediately by calling 1-877-499-4406". Contact information was "Amber Lawrence Program Director".
