Got charged 29.95 that I never agreed to by this damn company and now I don’t know how to get my money back or even contact them

Got scammed the same as others. Hooked me with 1$ for a vin look up to be charged 29.95 after I had done canceled the service since it didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know

Just like the rest of folks here, I was charged an additional $24.95 after the $1 dollar. Their website only described it would only charge $1.00 for one report but it’s all bs. I’m trying to contact them but no luck, tomorrow I’m contacting my bank.

Ofc like everyone else I thought I was purchasing a quick report for $1. All the while I was skeptical. I paid the $1 then immediately they wanted email etc. I decided not to proceed. I went to chat and ask that they cancel my payment. "JOE" wanted my email, last six digits of my cc and other info. Then sends me this long text with the steps req to look into processing a refund, which required applying that same info that he was asking for up front. Ofc at the very end of the text it read..."A refund is NOT guaranteed." He started speaking about a subscription. I told him that I did not order a subscription. Suffice it to say, he dismissed me and left the chat. Especially after I made aware that I would write a strongly worded review. I will cancel the payment Especially after reading the reviews knowing that they use various company names. It may cost me to have my bank block it, but at least they won't get it. Thinking about seeking a class action lawsuit. Anyone interested in participating?

Same thing happened to me yesterday it was supposed to be only a dollar and right away I was charged the 24.95 as well straight bs

Paid the dollar for the free report from “Budget Vehicle Reports” on 12/27/21. They debited the dollar and 3 minutes later they tried for the. $24.95. I use a debit card for many online purchases and only put enough on it to cover authorized purchases. They could not debit because there was no money- sorry about that LOL. On 1/26/22 they tried again using the name “Professional Car Info”. Again foiled because there was no money in the account. I emailed them saying to cut the crap and they replied saying that my “account” had been cancelled and there would be no further attempts to debit my card. The fact that they tried to debit my account using two different company names further proves that this is a true SCAM!

They claim the vehicle reports are $1 and then hit you wit $24.95 from exec search solutions claiming it’s for a monthly fee i immediately asked for a refund through their text support located on their website I was told on 3 separate occasions I would get a refund going through their required speech 3weeks later and I’ve never received a refund I emailed customer support and was told I would it be given a refund by jack kenny because I agreed to a monthly subscription which they had in fine print I see they have hundreds of complaints they are greedy and obviously need the money.
Scam!!!

I stumbled upon this website with a simple search. They advertise a VIN history report for $1 (see screenshot) so, of course, I bought it. Probably about a week later I noticed 2 charges on my bank statement that I didn't recognize at first. One was for $1, the other was for $24.95 from a company: EZtechnologies LLC in KY. I realized that this VIN History website had charged me an extra $24.95 for something so I followed up. I was told that I would be given a full refund within 3-5 business days, which, of course, I haven't, so I have since disputed the charges to my bank. If you stumble upon them, don't waste your time or money because they will charge for a subscription that isn't mentioned anywhere and will argue with you on the phone when you try to follow up.

They provide fake VIN report and scam people with charges. The VIN report I got from them had 0 accident reported but that car had a major accedient reported in other VIN reports I collected (AutoCheck). They advirtised $1 for the service which I canceled immidiately after seeing the report. But the started charging my credite card $24.95 monthly.

Charged me $26 after stating it was only $1 for a report that had ZERO information. I used carfax and saw an abundance of information compared to this.

Charges initial $1 for a car vin report, then $24.95. Site advertises vin reports as free, but when confronted over the phone, they explained that it was a monthly service fee to have access to free vin reports. When I asked to cancel and get a refund, as the website describes as "pain and hassle free", they said they would immediately process my request. Months later, they are still charging my card under different company names.

BEWARE of VinHistoryUsa.com as they promote $1 for VIN report but instantly charge you $24.95 plus the $1. It's a phish and bait site. Spent over an hour with my credit card company to stop payment plus additional recurring payments that I did not sign up for. Called VinHistoryUSA's instant help hotline number only to be disconnected when it was time to talk to a customer representative. Will take up to 90 days for this to be resolved. PLUS, the VIN report they provide had zero information about the car I was trying to get information.

This company is exactly what they are saying. A complete scam. $1 doesn’t sound like much to lose right? Well a few hours later my bank notified me of FRAUD in this card. They tried to charge an additional $24.95 using my credit card. Luckily my bank caught it and we suspended the card ASAP

I went on Vinhistoryus.com and got a vehicle report for a 2003 Toyota Camry. I paid $1 for the report and then they charged me $29 more dollars for the first month. I emailed the company a week after I got the report and let them know I wanted to cancel my subscription. Then two weeks later they charged me $27.71 12 times

The website claims to have info about your car and will show it to you for $1. After the fee is paid it brings you to a page where every field says there is no available information which is false and contradicts information before paying the fee. The worst part is they then do a second charge on your card of $24.95, luckily wells Fargo blocked the second charge attempt but now they have my card info and I don't trust it with them. Claims $1 fee then charges $1 then does an additional charge of $24.95

I was told I’d pay $1 for a car report, charged $26 when I’m low on money rn for rent and car maintenance and new clothes. Not happy they are a scam!

I was looking for a used car and searching for online services for VIN history. I found the site https://www.vinhistoryusa.com/ as the site looks like it's the relevant to USA by the name. While looking at VIN history, it doesn't ask for the money but asked to provide payment details. Later, I found some transactions posted on my Credit Card (25$, 1$, 1$, ). I have called them, canceled the subscription If it opts. They keep posting transactions even after the cancellation. In one month, they have done more than 10 transactions with 1$ (with 2-3 days of an interval). Each transaction will have a different transaction description and different merchant. But they are all same. I reported to them multiple times, they do the reversal of 1 transaction and say it's a system error and will report to the management about this issue and the remaining will be reversed in a couple of days, which can be never done. I fed up with them by calling asking for the reversal. Finally, I have canceled my credit card to stop the fraud transaction.

I have been receiving 24.95, 18.95, and 1.00 charges to my account randomly from different vendor names for the last 6 months. Vendor names show up as ZST, Vin History, Mrs Market, Shaylas Vin, Vehicle Report Systems. This is definitely fraudulent and I have reported this to my bank and had to cancel my cards. I called the support line and the rep told me she would refund all transactions.

Never signed up. Multiple charges of $19.85 and $1.00 over several months totalling $129.85. Don't know where they got my credit card. Felt certain it was a scam when options on their automated telephone systems included checking on refunds. What legitimate company gives enough refunds to have it on their main menu -- and it wasn't asking for refunds, it was "status of refund" -- like there are lots of folks expecting refunds and not seeing them. I just called the credit card company to deal with it. The charges have several different company names, some with the same phone number and some with different ones.

They continue to charge for a subscription I never signed up for and refuse to cancel despite multiple communications. Total and complete scam artists! Do NOT use this “service”. Not surprisingly, nothing appears to be happening though MULTIPLE complaints have been filed

+3

My “free” report as advertised on google has resulted in repeated charges on my card despite assurances of cancellation. Absolutely a fraudulent site run by scammers. Steer clear!
