Received call informing of various discrepencies from fraudulent SSA contact, had information that was close and was mistakenly corrected. Warrant for arrest was mentioned,he was also asked about any and all accounts he had open and asked why he had none. This raised suspicion and he started to question the person on the phone and he was told police would be at his door in 45 min.

Got a robocall from "Social Security Admin" that my social security number was being suspended because of unusual activity and press 1 for more information. I hung up.

The robo-calls are from various #'s. They always say that my social security account has been closed, because of suspicious activity. Then it says to press 1 to find out why. I do not, just hang up. I have 3 so far today 7/31/19 and it's only 11:12

I am getting numerous phone calls and when answer it is a recording asking to call them back so when I do they answer Social Security Administration, all I say to them is LOSE MY NUMBER, just want you to check on this, I have blocked the number and then I got another call from a MD number 301-358-0576 and when I call that number back it is not in service.

Scammer called consumer and said he was with the Social Security Administration and that her Social Security number had been stolen and used for identity theft. He asked consumer for her social security number so he could verify identity. Consumer did not give scammer social security number. Scammer got angry and hung up the phone.

Automated stating they were social security administration freezing his social security number press 1 to speak with representatives. The number they called is a private number i have for my husband since he had a stroke no one has this number but me Vickie *** and my son. That's how i know it is a scam i hung up.

Message left on my cell phone voice mail.

Monotone automated voice stating "This phone call is from the Dept of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our Dept. is to inform you that we just suspended your Social Security number because we found some suspicious activity. so if you want to know about this case just press 1 thank you

Ignored it and now reporting it.

The phone number 1-822-683-9021called and left the following voicemail on my phone "This is from the Department of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received a call from our department is to inform you that we just suspended your social security number because we found some suspicious activity. If you want to know more about this case just press one. Thank you."

The Social Security Administration does not call people, they send official mail only. Clearly a scam but a fairly sophisticated one.

Got a phone call on my cell from the above number. It feels like a Phishing tactic. They (automated) left a voice mail on my phone. Here is the transcription- "This call is from the Department of the Social Security administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to in for you that we just suspend your SS number because we found some suspicious activity so if you want to know about the case just press one thank you... " I have blocked this number on my phone.
