I have received live calls claiming to be with Social Security and saying my account was used fraudulently in the southern part of the U.S.

I did not give them any info but did call the BBB.

They called me on my cell phone,they stated they were from Social Security and they had been trying to reach me, that they had sent me registered mail. I was in trouble. I called them back @ this # 844 290 3792 spoke with Joshua & Adam. I could not understand them they had very heavy accents. They said I was hostile because I kept asking them to repeat themselves. Hung up on me.I still don"t know exactly why they called me. They had my name and address.Repeated it to me.

I just received a call on my cell phone, which I did not answer. I let it go to voicemail. Here is the beta translation. People need to be made aware of these scammers. I don’t know who else to notify of these scammers.

I received a call from a foreign man who stated that he was a federal agent and that if I my social security number had been involved in with drug trafficking. Then he began to ask questions about personal information. The phone disconnected and they called back and asked the same questions again.Once the questioning was over they stated that they would call back shortly and never called back.

They contacted my mother and informed her that her identity had been stolen. They asked for the last 4 of her social and then gave her some kind of alpha numeric code. When I called the number from my phone and asked for the address of the office I was immediately hung up on and my number was blocked.

I called again from a second line and again asked for the address to the office in which the operator was calling from she first told me San Antonio, Texas. I repeated myself asking for the exact address of the office from which she was calling from. She immediately hung up after that. Both times the operator had a foreign accent.

I have received a robo-call, supposedly from the Social Security Administration. The auto message said my social security number was used in Southeast Texas, my social security number was being placed on hold. I was asked to press 1 to talk to an Officer. The person answering identified himself as Social Security Officer Powell. When I asked for him for his Social Security Employee ID he hung up on me.

Call was coming from Texas. Tells you to call back the same number. Recording says your social security number has been detected for fraudulent activity and if not immediately taken care of a warrant for arrest will be issued. I called the number back and a foriegn man answered saying he was a social security officer. When I asked what it was about he hung up. Obvious scam.

I was called by “The social security administration” telling me that my ssn was suspended. They proceeded to ask for my ssn to update me on my case. I immediately hung up because I learned from a special radio episode on NPR that they do not suspend ssn’s.
