I am trying to find out if this is a scam or real. We received a letter with a form saying Acceptance Form. We have stocks with them. And apparently we can sell our shares to them. We had to get this form Notarised by a lawyer before sending, along with SIN# picture of ID. We did this but when we went to mail it the postmaster said the postal code did not assist. This company sent a letter in the mail saying that they were presenting a cash offer to purchase shares of my Prudential stock for $2185. The form requested an acceptance of the offer and a transfer of the stock into their company.

I was issued stock with Sun Life Financial Services, Canada, while employed with ******** ***** *********** of Lancaster PA. At some point, we were offered a cash sum for tendering the certificates, or notarized/witnessed materials thereof. A second letter was received about Oct. 2025, with a similar claim, although the company cited, They requested nearly the same info. Upon receipt, a check was to be mailed within 7 business days of receiving the notice of transferring the shares. No letter or monies were ever received. In the interim, I had been hospitalized off and on, and virtually lost track of this whole mess. I came upon the letter recently, as I’m trying to file my taxes for 2025 late— due to my illnesses/surgeries/etc. I never recovered the original shares, and thus had to prove so.

Received offer to sell stock, signed and stock was transferred. They have not paid for it, have sent several emails and I get the same story they need to confirm transfer. It was transferred in April.

I was informed of an opportunity to sell some stock for which I do not possess a stock certificate. I complied with all their requests and sent in my documentation. It has been over a month and I have not heard anything. I have called and e-mailed the contacts and have never heard back.
