caller said there was a warrant out for my arrest and I was under investigation for drugs in El Paso taxes and was very convincing and she said 2 agents would be out to my house and give me a new SS number she had me hold on the line and I had to go to Walmart and get a money card and when I did that they would cancel the warrant so I got a card and gave them the information off of the card i drove home and she stayed with me on the phone this total call was 1 hour and 48 minutes

they called and left a message telling me if I didn't call back they were going to come to my place of employment with an arrest warrant. I called back and guy with India accent answered. I asked where I was calling and he said the Social Security Administration. I asked him never to call my number again and he hung up on me.

I never answer a phone call from a number I don't now. I let my cell phone voice mail take the message. So I was checking my voice mail and this number was stored as 866-134-5030. At first it was a computer leaving a voice mail then all of a sudden a lady's voice came on and in a very threatening tone of voice said this call is from the Social Security Administration through Law Enforcement and that my SSN was being compromised and because of this my SSN is suspended until I resolve the situation and all benefits are frozen until I resolve the situation. Then said I needed to call back right away or this could get worse. I had a co-worker have this very same call and she did get scammed. I called my local police and they had no clue on how to help me report this. There was all kinds of red flags and that is what got me suspicious. Please, 1) the Social Security Administration would never threaten a person's benefits and 2) SSN would be corresponding by mail only and would never request/demand money as that is what happened to my co-worker. And, of course, after the news report on things like this almost every day I am always on my guard. Please be cautious people.

A robo call, where it stated my SSN was suspended due to suspicious activity. It then wanted me to text them back. The phone number belongs to someone named *** *** in Allen Texas. The number is also linked to a *** *** in Houston Texas. That's just from some quick googling of the phone number. I know its a scam because that's not how these situations are handled.

I got a phone call from 855-604-2075, which was a robocaller, saying I had suspicious activity on my social security number, and if I don't do anything about it, my SS # will be blocked (yeah right). They gave me the option to "press 1 to talk to an agent" (which of course I did not). Since I didn't actually press 1, I can't tell if they were going to ask for money, however I'd bet they were. I have no doubt that others have been scammed. I never comply with stupid phone calls like this. If it's from a government agency or from anyone, and it's important enough, they'll mail an official letter to me (and sometimes those aren't even legit). I get way too many calls like this, and it's annoying. Thankfully I haven't been scammed because I don't give any personal info or cc info over the phone.
