This is a scam and happened to me too
He asked if I could pay a “plumber” And come on this weekend to do the job.
I’ve realize it’s a scam after he actually sent money over with a payment link that I sent him. Right after, I received another email from the plumber with a fake invoice. Immediately refunded the money and blocked the emails.
Second time
The house is for sale. The property is 3315 W Queen Pl. Spokane, WA 99205.
How much will you charge for this? We can schedule for this next week coming Thursday/Friday because I have a plumbing guy coming to work also.

Sounds good! I'm okay with the price. Additionally, I'm having trouble paying the handyman I hired to take care of some work at the house, because he doesn’t accept credit card payments and that is my preferred payment. Could you add the handyman fee of $1500 to your existing service cost? I'll cover any additional tax fees that come with it.

I responded as I take credit cards payment, but no check.
And he goes
I'm okay with the price. I politely denied this and no response after that.
