I enrolled in a health plan and was charged 362.95 for a monthly basis plan, I was told I'd receive the health insurance cards by mail with 10-15 days. I was charged on 08/31 and transaction was posted 9/1 and today's the 16th of September and haven't received anything by mail. I was notified via email that they attempted to charge me again, for the month of October being in mid of September. I haven't received the cards for the service I paid for and they're attempting to charge me the same amount for each month. I called and canceled and asked for a refund, they were only able to send an email for cancellation but not a refund. I attempted to cancel and get refund and they tried to convince me with another made up alternative but I was firmly told them I want my money back and I want to cancel. I reported it to my bank as well.

Caller contacted my elderly father and told him his insurance had gone down since he is about to turn 90. He identified himself as working for United Health Care and said he needed payment upfront and sent to the website myplanassistance.com. My father contacted my youngest daughter and asked her to complete the transaction for him. The only paperwork she could print shows $229.94 but the credit card has additional charges on it from the same company. Another woman then contacted my father and said they could not accept credit cards they needed a debit card. When this was brought to my attention I am going to help cancel the credit card so no further charges are applied. This is a scam targeting the elderly and needs to be put to a stop. Please let me know what further action I can take.

Looking for health insurance and they took my social, name, credit card info, address, etc. Not sure what to do right now but I did change my credit card information once I realized. They are very thorough and detailed so it is hard to tell if it’s a scam. They even send you a fake temporary health insurance card through text.

I was trying to update my covered California information and a Google search brought this up as the top result with the phone number included. The representative took my information to confirm and presented one of the plan options 'available to me' even going so far as to describe all of the 'benefits' of that plan. He asked for my payment information and then sent me a text to 'confirm' and agree to the terms of service. This is where I first noticed that it was unlike my other calls to CC but by that point I had already given him all of my contact information, date of birth, and credit card information. It was very convincing and he had all of the 'plan' information readily available as a solution to my questions.

Spoke with a man named Thomas who stated that a Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan that would cover my husband and I 100%, and we could get it at a discounted rate if we carried secondary insurance. We signed up and made the first payment of $428.75, $100.00 of that was stated to be used as a 1-time activation fee. About a week later we received discount cards for SmileMax, OptimumRx, ParamountRx, Discover Care Plus, MD Connect, but never received our primary insurance cards from Blue Cross Blue Shield, so we called the company on 01-07-25 to ask. At that time, we were asked if we were ever contacted by an underwriter, I said no, I was put in contact with an underwriter named Annie who asked multiple questions and was supposed to be signing us up for our Primary health insurance through the state health insurance platform in our state, I was given out login and password information to upload requested documents. Annie submitted my husband's SSN incorrectly so we had to correct that mistake and then we provided information on our loss of health coverage, at that time we were denied health insurance through special enrollment, however when we reached out to this company originally, we should have been enrolled through open enrollment. We contacted the company and explained the situation and they stated that they would file an appeal and that there wouldn't be any issues. The company took a payment from our bank account in the amount of $303.75 on 01-27-25, to that date we still did not have the primary insurance we reached out to this company for. We called to speak with the underwriter Annie multiple times and was always told, that she would contact us. We have been placed on hold for over 30 minutes and never had anyone come back on the line to help answer our questions. Today, 02/04/25, we contacted the local health platform and was informed that there is no information from the company and that they do not typically do things in such a manner. It appears as if Annie started the application the day we spoke with her on the phone, as if she were my husband. We had to file a dispute with our bank and have our debit card cancelled. We still can't get anyone to answer the phone number that was provided at the beginning of this whole ordeal.

Going through unemployment right now and figuring out my health plans, I’ve confirmed with CoveredCA my plan would be $0 but to call Kaiser to confirm my info will be continued. I called Kaiser when number I cannot figure out how I got as 2 numbers I am looking at my history now and does not allow me to call back: +1 (928) 938-8044 and +1 (510) 775-9720. They took my social pretending to pull my health insurance information and my credit card. I am very upset and not sure what to do!
