I told him that he called me. Then I said you called me; this must be a scam. Then he said IF you thought it was a scam why did you press 1 *******. Then he hung up. I called the number back and just a regular person answered. Person that called me had a very strong accent. Just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Thank you

I answered a call on my cell phone. The caller identified themselves as being with Social Security. It was a man. He did not give his name. Called from phone number 216-849-8900. I answered because it was a 216 area code. I thought it was a local call. I know Social Security does not call. Especially on a Saturday. They would sent a letter. I did not give him a chance to say anything else. I said if you call back here again, I'm going to call the police. He hung up.

I received robocalls yesterday on my cell and house phone. It stated unless I return the call, someone would come to my home. I would be arrested. It did not give a company name. I called the phone number. 469-913-1313. They answered Social Security. I told them this is a scam. They hung up right away.
