Received a call to my voicemail from Walmart stating that a charge had been made to my account in the amount of $2,499.00 for a MacBook Pro and Iphone, and to call 865-240-8918 if I did not authorize this purchase. I called back and got suspicious due to the lack of knowledge of this person. They said they cancelled the order then proceeded to transfer me to the social security administration to discuss ways to protect my information as it appeared to have been compromised. It all seemed suspicious, and when I wouldn't give the lady, who used the name Jamie Green, the last 4 numbers of my SS number, she hung up on me.

Received a call from this number. Did not answer. They left a voicemail which my phone transcribed for me: "15205836330 Deposited a new message:

"4 to $5 for a PlayStation 5 and 3D headset has recently been placed on a Walmart account registered in your name and phone number. If you did not make this purchase, press 1 now to cancel the order or immediately call us back on the same number to speak with our Walmart support. A pre-authorized purchase. Of $919.45 for a PlayStation 5 and 3D headset has recently been placed on a Walmart account registered in your name and phone number. If you did not make this purchase, press 1 now to cancel the order or immediately call us back on the same number. Thank you."

This is untrue. There’s no record on Walmart of this with my account.

I received a voice mail claiming that a pre-authorized purchase of $919.45 for a Playstation 5 and 3D headset on my Walmart account registered under my name and phone number. I have no Walmart account and I did not place any such order. The voice message told me to press 1 to cancel the order or to call them back at (234) 404-2489 to speak with Walmart support.

Due to my live caption service for calls not having internet the scammer left a voicemail instead. They expected me to call back to resolve a dispute on my Walmart account. Here’s the voicemail: “Verification A pre authorized purchase of 919.45 dollars for a PlayStation 5 and 3D headset has recently been placed on a Walmart account registered in your name and phone number. If you did not make this purchase, press 1 now to cancel the order or immediately call us back on the same number to speak with our Walmart support. A preauthorized purchase of 919.45 dollars for a PlayStation 5 and 3D headset has recently been placed on a Walmart account registered in your name and phone. Number If you did not make this purchase, press 1 now to cancel the order or immediately call us back on the same number. Thank you.” This is all I know as I reported as soon as I noticed it.

I received a call from the number 419-334-9807. After a very long time someone answered. The man said Walmart. I explained that I had received a call from that number and wondered why Walmart would be calling me. He asked if my name was ......and I made the mistake of saying yes. I shouldn't have said yes because I know that scammers want you to say yes. He also ended up getting me to say my age. I am worried about what may happen in the future in regards to this.

I received the call at 1404 (or 2:04 pm) on June 3, 2026 according to my phone's missed calls log. The number left a voicemail, the caller ID appearing as Chickasaw CSOA, at +1 901-327-4193. The voicemail was a robo-call supposedly from a woman named Olivia with Walmart, telling me a large prepaid purchase of $2,000 was made on an account in my name for a MacBook and IPhone. If I did not want the purchase to go through I needed to immediately call the number 808-312-7016.

On September 18th, 2025 I received a missed call from 818-474-1684. The caller left an automated voice message that said "...Being ordered from your Walmart account for an amount of $1,537.35 to cancel your order or to connect with one of our customer support representatives please call back on the same number.." voicemail ends. I have not done business with Wal-Mart in many years and I am aware that Wal-Mart does not call you after placing an order, also this number is not associated with the company. A carrier search revealed that this number is registered with IP Horizon, LLC which is a VoIP carrier. I did not engage with the number further. It should be noted that i am on the Do Not Call Registry and that routing Robo Calls or pre recorded messages is against the TSR.

Said that an attempt to open a Walmart account and purchase a PlayStation 5 in my name for $1537.34. I was transferred to an individual claiming to be from the FCC. After being transferred, I was told that they wanted to do a background check on me! Red flag! I told the person to stop with the scamming and I hung up.

Phone call from above number stated that I had a 9 day old order at Walmart for over $2,000 (gave a specific amount). If I did not place the order, press 1 immediately. I did and the person that answered asked why I called. I told them and they hung up. I called the number and a man answered. I asked if it was Walmart, he said No, Sorry.
