My phone rang and a message was left stating: Hello, this is Julie from Walmart. A pre-authorized purchase for a PlayStation 5 and an impulse 3D headset in the amount of $919.45 was placed using your name and phone number. If you did not authorize this purchase, please call our Walmart support immediately at 805-236-10

... then the message cut off.

I received a message on my answering machine. The young lady left a message stating "a 3D headset recently placed through a new Walmart account registered to your name and phone number. If you did not authorize this purchase, call us immediately at 805-424-6808. Again the number is 808-424-6808." The caller ID read "stateline recyc".

Free couch was offer from Walmart. It asked for 9.99 for shipping. Then got charged an additional 43.00 that I did not authorize. I did not receive any product. When I asked for a refund they told me it was coverted into credits and I can only spend the credit on their website. I dont want anything on thier website. I want my money back.

Called on phone number 864-362-8656 stating a charge was made at Walmart for a PlayStation 5 and headset, for a total of 1532.32. Advised to contact at the number appearing on our phone or reach helpdesk at phone number 833-696-2192.

On September 18th, 2025 I received a missed call from 818-474-1684. The caller left an automated voice message that said "...Being ordered from your Walmart account for an amount of $1,537.35 to cancel your order or to connect with one of our customer support representatives please call back on the same number.." voicemail ends. I have not done business with Wal-Mart in many years and I am aware that Wal-Mart does not call you after placing an order, also this number is not associated with the company. A carrier search revealed that this number is registered with IP Horizon, LLC which is a VoIP carrier. I did not engage with the number further. It should be noted that i am on the Do Not Call Registry and that routing Robo Calls or pre recorded messages is against the TSR.

Said that an attempt to open a Walmart account and purchase a PlayStation 5 in my name for $1537.34. I was transferred to an individual claiming to be from the FCC. After being transferred, I was told that they wanted to do a background check on me! Red flag! I told the person to stop with the scamming and I hung up.

Phone call from above number stated that I had a 9 day old order at Walmart for over $2,000 (gave a specific amount). If I did not place the order, press 1 immediately. I did and the person that answered asked why I called. I told them and they hung up. I called the number and a man answered. I asked if it was Walmart, he said No, Sorry.

I do not have a Walmart account. The scammer says his name is Brandon and he is from Walmart and that a pre- authorized purchase of a PlayStation five special edition with pulse 3D headset is being ordered from my Walmart account for an amount of $919.45.. To cancel transaction or connect with one of their customer support representatives press one. I took screenshots of the voicemail translation, but I don’t know if this forum will allow it as an attachment. I have a feeling that maybe someone who has a Walmart account might press one and get scammed.

I was scrolling on Facebook and saw this advertisement for couches so I clicked on it and was like oh this is cheap my kids need beds perfect... I ordered one and it said it would be delivered in a week that week came and no item called the post office with tracking number and they said it was delivered to a different address not the one that was provided i contacted them via email and that's when everything went downhill ordered another chair from a different site and when i looked on my bank statement it was the same name as the first order Anglan Blyssa i disputed from on bank account and got my money back but i am still waiting on my 2nd bank account to finish reviewing my dispute and they keep emailing me saying they will resend my order or file a $200 insurance claim and that they are investigating the situation mind you they been saying this since march it is now may https://supplyamaze.top/clause/contact-us is the site i ordered one from and the other site is. Not found anymore

Shopping on Facebook for a an electric trike. I came across this low priced one so I clicked on the site and it took me to this with the Walmart emblem at the top I researched Walmart the lowest electric bike they have is $600 this one they say it was a clearance for $49 their address is out of Colorado their email is a Hotmail address so I know it's a scam company using the Walmart emblem.

Email from Walmart looks official wanted to make sure that I still wanted to purchase this washer for $299 and I said no and hung hung up after he asked me to give him some kind of a number. I then called my bank and checked it out with them and they told me it was a scam. No money was lost. No money came out of my account

I received a phone call on my work phone, he told me he was from Walmart. I didn't give him a chance to explain what he wanted (I could hear other marketers in the background) I instantly told him to stop calling my work phone, and to leave me alone. He told me **** *** and hung up. I blocked the number on my phone.

I received a phone call and let it go to voicemail. It said this is not a telemarketing call. My name is Charles from Walmart and they have preauthorized a purchase of Play Station 5, etc., which is being ordered from my account for a price of $919.45. If this is not me, then I need to call them at a certain number. I looked it up here and found that this was a scam, so I didn't bother to call.

Received a phone call fro. 224.544.3346 of rep claiming to be from walmart. Stated a mac computer $1499.35 waspreapproved via walmart acct#409122341040. Claims someone at 32247 hamilton ct #107 solon oh 44139 billing addressed to be shipped to 49 arcadia ct albany ny and thry would put a fraud hold on it. Wanted me to identify which ba k a ct/ listed several, they should inform. I refused any info and rhey hung up.

I recieved a phone call from a walmart representative she gave her name as Mary saying there was a pre-authorized purchase of a Platstation ordered on my Walmart account for the amount of $919.45 and to cancel this order or get connected to a customer support representative to press one.
