Received a voicemail from 318-219-5912 stating that I had a pre-authorized purchase of $919.45 for PlayStation 5 and headphones on my Walmart account. The original call wanted me to press 1 to speak with them. I called them back at the number on caller ID which wasn’t left in the voicemail and a foreign sounding gentleman asked for my name and zip code to research my account. He stated that I had 2 Walmart accounts one personal and one business. This is not the case. He was able to pull up my address from my name and zip code. I disconnected the call and checked my online Walmart.com account and there was no order pending. Decided it was a phishing scam at this point.

They contacted me by phone and left a voicemail. I read the message and it said it was a courtesy call regarding an unverified order on your Walmart account. The order included a PlayStation 5 special edition and a pulse3-D headset build at $879.29. Then it says: to cancel the order or speak to a customer service representative press 1 or return our call as soon as possible.

I did not give the caller any information but they proceeded to tell me that there were other accounts under my name. At this point I told them I thought it was a scam and I would be contacting Walmart directly.

I received a Walmart gift card as a gift, I then googled how to check a Walmart gift card balance. I clicked on the first site that popped up. By the time I put my info & it started doing the circle thing online I realized the website was fraudulent. Then when I tried to put the gift card on my Walmart account I realized that they took the whole balance

Seller has falsely advertised their listing. The description is falsely listed. The pictures are not what you will receive. The product received was not as described. I want to make sure no one else is scammed. I did get my money back. I just want to make sure the listing gets taken down. The seller has to approve reviews so there are minimal reviews about product received.

The person said that a second Walmart account had been opened in my name and had charged a play station worth $885. Asked me if I had made that purchase and I said not. Asked me my zip code and I told them. Then they asked my my name and I ended the call. I went online and checked my WAlmart account and my payment method and no purchases had been made.

She said she was a Walmart representative letting me know if I had authorized a charge for a PlayStation for $919.45. Said for me to press one to say no or talk to someone else. I never charge anything at Walmart and didnt make this purchase. I didn’t respond but figured it was a scam to get information from me.
