I've received 4 calls today from the above phone number, and was left messages stating that my SS# has been suspended due to an urgent matter. Each time I called the number back, I spoke with a female and male stating that my SS# has been suspended. I asked if I was going to be contact via mail with written documentation stating the same. I was told I needed to go to the SS Office, and then I was hung up on. I called for a 5th time, and there was no answer.

I got an automated recording that said they were from social security administration and my “account” had a claim against it?! So i called the number back and they needed my name, zip code and then my social security number. When i refused to give them my SSN they said they couldn't access my claim without it. I reminded them that THEY called ME so my name should be suffice. When I repeated that I wasn’t giving them my SSN they hung up on me. I called them right back and told them i was reporting them to you guys.

They have called my cell and my work SIMULTANEOUSLY for the past 2 - 3 weeks, several times per week. When the work line is answered, no one is on the line and the call immediately disconnects. I've blocked their numbers on my cell and the voicemails left indicate that they are calling regarding an issue with my SSN and that "this is my last opportunity to contact them to resolve the matter before it will be taken to court". They do not identify themselves, only instruct me to call them back at (888) 723-5101. When searching these phone numbers, others have reported them as being Commonwealth & Associates attempting to collect on fake or invalid debts. I insist they immediately cease all attempts at contacting me. This is THEIR last chance before I report them to the proper authorities.

They have called me several times saying there is a lawsuit against me and that I need to give them my social security number so verify some information. When I start asking too many questions, they hang up, but call me again later saying the same thing. There's always lots of noise in the background.

The voicemail began with a man supposedly from Social Security, agent #SS89165. Something had happened with my Social Security number and, if I didn't respond by calling the 774-567-0179 number I would be subject to being arrested and put in jail. I had heard about various Social Security scams on NBC Nightly News last night (Jan 2, 2019), and I also know Social Security doesn't call people but writes to them, so I ignored him.

I received a voicemail stating that there was fraudulent activity with my social security number. They left the phone number 832-426-2495 to call back. I called knowing it wasnt right. The person answered the phone stating they were part of the social security administration, they asked me for my social security number, in which I refused. The person then proceeded to tell me I have to give it to them or they cannot remove the activity used on my identity. I told them that they were a scammer and they told me and please excuse my language, "dont *** say that word." I continued to tell them that I was reporting them and asked for their name, which they refused to provide and hung up on me. I have saved the partial voicemail that I received from the summer.

They called with a call back number saying there was social security fraud against my account in San Antonio Texas and asked for my DOB + SS #. He said if I wouldn't give it to him that he would send my file to the FBI and I would go to jail for 30 years. When I asked what it was in regards to he said I don't know, "drugs, and opening 10 bank accounts". He said his name was Frank Johnson. It was very noisy and sounded like a call center in the background. He spoke to someone else in another language too that wasnt a common language (I know Spanish) which would have been his language if he was from San Antonio as he said.
