REPEATEDLY ASKED FOR MY PRE-AUTH APPROVAL AND CONFIRM MY CREDIT CARD. I THEN RECOGNIZED IT WAS A SCAM AND IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP, BLOCKED THE NUMBER AND REPORTED AS JUNK. CHECKED WITH MY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION FOR ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY AND REPORTED TO BBB.

It sends a text message to me. The test has an image shows as a security notice from amazon. The security notice states: "Your account is logged in from Mumbai, India. If this is not from you, please verify your account in the secure link below.". Followed this security notice image, it states "SWDSNRVPLU US49291KONLZ.us07ne17d3.co ULBCG IMQQCWEAMI".

The link in the text message is obviously a fishing url link.

They said I had an unauthorized payment of $1000. I don't have an Amazon account so this is a scam!

I received 2 robo calls from this number stating an Apple iphone 13 had been purchased from Amazon. The call said it needed verification or cancellation of the purchase and wanted me to interact with the call (press 1 to verify etc). I hung up and checked my Amazon orders and there is no such order. I then checked Amazon's scam alert and was told this is a scam.

Received a voice mail about authorizing a payment of $1499 for the recent order of Apple MacBook Pro on my Amazon account if you did not authorize this payment, please press one to speak to our customer support representative. I called the number back and and was given all this information relating to my name, zip code, email address, list of credit cards with ending numbers. Finally when I said if there is a charge on my Amazon account for this MacBook, I will report it as a fraulent claim to Amazon and the guy, whose name was NAME hung up.

I ordered a Bissel hydro steam through amazon. And received a box marked hydro steam but what was inside the box was a different model. So, i called. They sent out a replacement and it turned out to be the same thing again. Someone at the distribution center had put hydro steam labels on all the wrong boxes. If you order this produvtt through amazon. Better check it. What is in the box is model 3072 which is a turboclean machine and not the hydroclean machine. Beware not sure if this is a scam or a mistake by amazon. I took pictures of the box that shows how the stickers were placed on top and sides to cover up what is really inside the box. Under the labels. It says model 3072 which is what is really in the box.

I received a phone call stating I pitched a MacBook from Amazon fot$1499.00 the name of the person who ordered it was Mike Waugh the address was NAME & ADDRESS. I told the person who said his name was NAME2 said he need my ss# I refused to give it he said I only need the last four digits and I mistakenly gave it to him. Then he transferred me to the FTC I spoke to NAME3 his agent #FTC70105 who gave me a case # AG 52864. He told me that my identity was stolen and used for money laundering once I asked if you work for the federal government why dose he have a foreign accent he disconnected the call.

Scammer used the maximum amount of days Amazon permitted before shipping. Scammer did not ship within 30 days and so violated the Amazon return or refund policy. Nothing could be contested outside of this period. Scammer filed a USPS tracking number with negligible package or item to be tracked. Because the product ordered was a food/health supplement product, it could not be returned or refunded. Thus the scammer made a profit from charging the customer $70.00 and never having to deliver said product. The seller was based at 26212 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD 20872, USA.

Received a call from "Brian" at Amazon claming my account had been frozen as many accounts were fraudulently opened using 3 banks ordering MacBooks as well as Apple tablets. Brian gave me all of the 4 last digits on the credit cards used as payments and what banks there were to. He asked if i used any of the banks and i told him no.

He then tells me he is trasfering me to speak to the FTC and plead my case so I would not be held liable for $6500.00, $4,852 and $6,942 00.

He proceeded to tranfer me to a NAME- Badge Number. 28mt09 Steven proceeded to ask me if I knew what the FTC was I said yes. He then asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social and birthday where I told him i will not be giving that info out to him. He wanted to get argumentative at that time and told me I would be liable for those accounts and those amounts. I hung up on him. My only saving grace is my credit file is already locked. So just be mindful as I googled Amazon's number after that and Brian's number was the first to pull up. If it's not an 800 number hang up and dont call them.

33 bench, with advertising Amazon. I ordered from their website and lost $26.00 on this order.

This happened on TikTok on February 27 I order 5 items from what I thought was an Amazon website. I spent $43.88. 2 pairs of shoes 1 iPad 1 laptop and charger. It was a one day discounted sale. I prefer from Amazon monthly so the website looked legit until a 3rd party took the money out of my account called kitchendinning ltd. I did get a confirmation email. I never received a tracking number. Waiting a few days and emailed them. They finally gave me one. Said it had been delivered to Idaho. I’m not in that state. These people and I have been emailing for the past 2 months. They keep saying they have sent my package several times and to wait 7 days and 10 days so on n so. Will not provide tracking information. And 2 months later still nothing. I have numerous times just asked for a refund and either the don’t acknowledge that but today they refused to give me a refund. So I don’t have my money or my items. I did let Amazon know that these people are using their name to scam people as well. Any other company would provide tracking number and no other company would take 2 months to deliver. And if for some reason they did they would refund some of your money or offer a discount towards or next purchase.

Amazon offers to buy a pallet of different tools from overstock

They give the impression that you are buying a pallet at discounted priced, where in fact they send you one random tool. The cost is whst you would have paid retail anywhere. I belivev Amazon decieves people into thinking they will receive much more

I used Google screen call feature on my phone for this unknown number. It tells them a msg that this caller is using screen call feature and to say who they are and why they are calling. First spam where they actually didn't hang up. They talked and I have a transcript. It states, Amazon is calling. This call is too (yes that's how they spelled it) authorized (yes that's how they spelled it) the payment of $1,499 for the recent order of Apple MacBook Pro on your Amazon account. If you do not authorize this payment please press one to speak to our customer service department. I have the option to send a few preset questions back or pick up the call. I did neither. They waited a few seconds then disconnected the call. I didn't order anything, and I don't have an Amazon account. I blocked the number and reported it as spam. Then I realized, it's more than that; it was a scam! That is why I am reporting it here. Beware and be safe!

So ive spent years ordering from amazon they say pay for prime great service which is a big scam.

I was charged serval times the same month for amazon prime i checked my bank statement and seen other charges from them as well that were not orders just random unknown charges some did say prime others just said amazon.com.

When i tried to contact customer service they act like they do not see the charges or know where they are coming from which means they probably have hack in their system or scamming for more money. They also do not protect their customers pay for prime for good service but we will let the seller do whatever they want to our customers. The sellers scam all the time and do follow the prime policy we pay for they shouldnt even charge for prime if they cant honor it. Now because ive had many order with amazon they lie and say oh we have to cancel your account claiming that the card we use is not our card. Which is a scam and a lie after we just purchased a bed and the seller sent damaged wood pieces so i asked for a replacement of the parts that are damaged or a refund now they didnt want to do that and took the sellers side of this situation. They now made a lie saying that they have to cancel my account due to us using a card thats not ours for the payment method. Its a debit card a personal card with the same address and info that is for deliveries on the account. Just because they do not want to protect their customers. So mad i want my prime money back. I will go to my bank and get all the money back for every purchase i made to them.

Called me to tell me my Amazon account and my identity has been compromised. Wanted me to verify my name and zip code, then asked for birthdate. That's when I hung up the phone.
