These people call you and say you have been selected to receive a grant from the federal government..they want your bank account info. Or to send it through western union for a refundable fee of $250.00...i knew this was a scam immediately..please do not send these people any $money...please pass the story around

Left automated message that me and my family were. Wing investigated by the US Government. It said they had tried to contact me three time in the last six months.

My daughter called the number and it had already been blocked by Stop This Fraud for illegal activity.

I, was informed their was a warrant out for my arrest. I would be arrested within 1 hr. if I did not return their call. Message was left on my cell phone, voice mail.

Caller said I had qualified for a $9000 grant. Kept asking if I could hear her. I said no & hung up.

Joe Williams with India type or middle eastern accent. He called it the National Institute or Institution of Health Department. I was told I'd get a "free" government grant but I had to go & buy $350 in Apple gift cards. Stupidity over took my better judgement and I did with a promise I would be receiving a $14000 grant. I just lost my job last week & this money would've been a tremendous help. The $350 came out of my tax return money card. I was going to use it for bills instead of throwing it away. After purchasing the Apple gift cards they said I had to pay an additional $1000 in taxes on it before I could receive it. I didn't have that kind of money. They also said at first the $350 was refundable then towards the end said it wasn't.

My wife received a message yesterday from an automated attendant stating that we have not responded to a situation that is now 6 months old and we are in intentional fraud of the US Government.

Got a call saying I was selected for a government grant, and I needed to go purchase a Google card of a certain amount that would allow the $9,300.00 load. I asked why I was selected and he said to to paying my takes and not breaking the law, in the past 6 months.

I was called twice by someone claiming that I've been awarded a government grant for $9000. The second person i talked to wanted me to go to Western Union and send $250 refundable fee. the two callers had Indian accents and they tried to rush me into paying the $250 today.

It was an automated system stating that thwy have contacted me 6 months ago regarding possible fraud and since i have not contacted thwm back it is now considered intential fraud against the us government and i am now have a case against me and am now being sued

I got a strange recorded call this morning, that my family was being investigated for fraud by the United States government. They left a phone number for me to call which was the same phone number they had called from.

Called me in evening offering a $9800 free grant that I wouldn't have to pay back. I stupidly gave him my bank account number. Luckily I realized it had to be a scam before giving my bank routing info. But did call the bank first thing this morning to make preparations to be sure that they would not be able to get anything out of it. Please be careful and always remember "IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS"

Got a call government giving a $9700.00 grant, have to go to Walmart to get a prepaid card for $200.00, call back with info to activate card and they will send the $9700.00

Stated that they were with the Federal Government and that I was granted a 5,000,00 Dollar personnel grant and when I asked what the grant was for and what I had to do to get it they hung up.

These people have called me numerous of times and stated that I owe the government money and that I also won a grant from the government and then will have you talk to someone else who then tells you to go to western union and send money or they will ask for your account number. Be Aware, they sound like they are from India.

Got a call from a guy saying I won 9700 dollars. He said to call Janet Miller w/ approval code bm257 and accept my money, but they started talking about needing to pay 200 dollars to get my card to accept the money. When I said I was recording the call they freaking out and hung up.
