Joe Williams with India type or middle eastern accent. He called it the National Institute or Institution of Health Department. I was told I'd get a "free" government grant but I had to go & buy $350 in Apple gift cards. Stupidity over took my better judgement and I did with a promise I would be receiving a $14000 grant. I just lost my job last week & this money would've been a tremendous help. The $350 came out of my tax return money card. I was going to use it for bills instead of throwing it away. After purchasing the Apple gift cards they said I had to pay an additional $1000 in taxes on it before I could receive it. I didn't have that kind of money. They also said at first the $350 was refundable then towards the end said it wasn't.

Called me in evening offering a $9800 free grant that I wouldn't have to pay back. I stupidly gave him my bank account number. Luckily I realized it had to be a scam before giving my bank routing info. But did call the bank first thing this morning to make preparations to be sure that they would not be able to get anything out of it. Please be careful and always remember "IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS"

Got a call from a guy saying I won 9700 dollars. He said to call Janet Miller w/ approval code bm257 and accept my money, but they started talking about needing to pay 200 dollars to get my card to accept the money. When I said I was recording the call they freaking out and hung up.
