Voice message saying that my social security # would be suspended due to law enforcement i called#and person who answered spoke broken English

I got a phone call sayin there were fraudulent charges reporting back to the SSA from my social security number and that I was in danger of having it blocked or even appearing in front of a federal judge and jury. If I did not call the number back to find out what's going on. When I called back they just kept asking over and over for my name and social security number

I get phone calls everyday from someone claiming to be with the SS Administration. I think I have gotten 50 or more. These have been both live callers and recorded calls. They say that my SS # is being investigated and that I will lose benefits.

Received a phone call stating my SSN is going to be suspended.

- Coraopolis, PA, USA

I received a call from 800-722-1213. Before answering I did a Google search and its the actual number for Social Security Office - https://www.ssa.gov/agency/contact/phone.html.

This is a scam as I never received any type of notice in the mail and Social Security office doesn't make threatening calls.

I received a phone call four times from the number***112-7904 and they claimed they were with the Department of Social Security. They said my social security number had been compromised and asked me to press 1 to understand why it has been removed. I didn't press the number, but ithe message was garbled and filled with static. I called ScamPulse.com and they informed me it was a scam.

I had a missed call from a San Antonio number, which is where the head off office of our bank is so I called it back. This guy answered and said he was with the social security administration and needed my DOB and SS number. He then looked for a while and said that the social security office was filing a charge against me for drug trafficking and money laundering and they were hold my husbands SS payment now. I then googled about a scam with these details and found on. I had already given him my DOB and SS number though. He gave me warrant number from the state of Texas and then told me that evidently while we weren't home they searched our home and seized #20 of cocaine. I just laughed and hung up. He was then very rude about my laughing about such a serious matter.

Voicemail message left on my iPhone on 7/5/2019 @ 2:23 PM CST:

"Suspicious trail of illegal activities. The issue is time sensitive and urgent. We hope to hear back from you before we proceed further with suspension of your social security number. The moment you hear this message, you need to get back to us at 310-620-7966, I repeat, 312-620-7966."

My husband call the number back from his phone number, but it went directly to voicemail. However, when I called the number back from my phone number, it allowed the call to go through because they had just called me. The person who answered was an Asian Male, who answered, "Social Security Administration.". I then said, "I am calling on a recorded line so that your phone number can be traced. State your name, title, and phone number." He hung up. I am SICK of these calls. They are always Asian Males, who have nothing better to do than to scam people into giving them their SS# so they can create fraudulent cards.

Please stop these calls! My husband is a Disabled combat Veteran who served our country. This is so bad, and so harmful again and again.

Thank you.

Robocall claiming to be Social Security Administration. They asked me to call back at 903-956-0322 and verify my social security or they will issue a warrant for my arrest.

Received a message on my answering machine stating: the date of the phone call was Wednesday June 19 2019 at 1:50 pm. I was informed that activity was going on with my SSN and to please contact and verify my SSN to better assist me with the issue. It was further stated that if they did not hear back from me they will have to issue and arrest warrant under my name. I called this to your attention on the phone at 3:20 and talked to Bonnie. It was broadcast over the weekend on TV. This number appeared on my answering machine from V26001175400039.

I got a call telling me my social security number was cancelled due to suspicious activity. When they started asking for personal information, I knew it was a scam and told him he was a tick on the [censored] of humanity he then hung up.

I got a call from this scammer saying that there was fraud against my social security number. They left the number they called from for me to call.

They called and left a voicemail initially, because I have my ringer on do not disturb, telling me to return the call it is a very serious matter. This was from a Culver City (310) area code number. I returned the call to be asked to be put on hold then they hung up. I called back and there was no answer several times and no voicemail. I believe the tone of my voice scared them off. They could tell I wasn't going to fall for whatever they were trying.

- Big Rapids, MI, USA

Got a call from 214-377-0443 saying there was a problem with my Social Security account and to call another number ( which I did not get). I called the above number that was on my caller ID and a man with a foreign accent answered as “Social Security Administration.” He asked for me by name, but I did not confirm my identity. He asked if I knew the person he named and started to say that there was a problem with that person’s Social Security number. I stated that I would call the real Social Security office and hung up.
