You pay for a legitimate product they have on their website and after many delays and emails they finally ship you something damaged and obviously had been repackaged possibly as a return and then blame the shipping company for the damage. I have photos. Sam and evidence from canpar

On November 3rd 2023 I've purchased online through Taps Depot web site replacement hose for my kitchen faucet Hans Grohe for $97 incl. tax and S+H. Initially Mr. Sam Ramandi (and further on I've dealt only with him) promised on the phone to bring me hose on a couple of days form some warehouse in London ON. 3, 4, 5 days lapsed-no sign of the hose form vendor. I've waited 14 days without clear confirmation of delivery date. That was enough, I have sent cancellation email to Taps Depot with request for full refund. Same day Taps Depot confirmed cancellation, scalded me about impatience: they don't like inpatient clients like me, order cancelled, refund will be done. That email exchange took place on November 17th 2023. In couple of days I have purchased and received my hose from Masco Canada who's official rep of Hansgrohe brand in Canada. Price was the same like on Taps Depot web site. Two more weeks went by-no refund. Upon new request about refund early December 2023 Sam Ramandi shown on LinkedIn web site like salesperson by Taps Depot advised that first his manager didn't allow him to rpocess refund, second, his system is not capable to process refund and this, he has to retain 15-35% "re-socking fee". I have explained to Sam Ramandi he doesn't have any stock, there is nothing to re-stock, merch didn't arrive, whenever it is delivery should have been cancelled on Nov. 17th, goods be returned to wholesaler. And for that particular brand wholesaler is Masco Canada exclusively dealing with Hansgrohe parts through small plumbing retailers like Taps Depot. They don't charge re-stocking fees at all so these fees are fruit of Mr. Sam Ramandi's imagination. This guy, instead of refusing me immediately after receiving cancellation note on Nov. 17th 2023 provided lame excuses, explanations why he wants but can't process refund. in early December I have submitted claim with VISA Canada requesting for refund of the payment transaction on Nov. 3rd 2023. Claim is in process it takes up to a month per notes form Visa. Meanwhile Taps Depot first week of December received spare part and advised me about it with email and photos. I replied that I'm glad they finally have it more than a month after order placement and more than 2 weeks later after order was cancelled. I informed Taps Depot I don't need the part, I need refund of my payment done a month ago. Taps Depot owner Sam Ramandi decided to play a fool, shipped the part to me directly vie Canada Post. After receiving information from Canada Post outlet they have a parcel for me I had no idea what was that. At the post office I learned there is Taps Depot parcel they shipped on their own without request to do that. Parcel went back to vendor. After receiving parcel back Taps Depot decided they did all the work they had to and contract was closed. Very hypocritical tactic to avoid refund and tell Visa they did all they had to. I'm waiting for Visa officer to contact me to collect confirmation of my claim to prang this [censored] Taps Depot by as much persons and entities as possible. PEAPLE AND BUSINESSES SHOULD NE WARNED TO AVOID DEALING WITH THIS TAPS DEPOT, a micro-dealer with online presence who's note caring about his reputation. There is no place on Canadian market for plumbing supply for scammers like Taps Depot and Sam Ramandi.

I purchased my company products since 2020 from Taps Depot and they sometimes refund my money without any problem, I don’t why some competitors stores try to destroy the successful business , This is not good way to increase your customers, and scare other customers.

I definitely recommend the store , because I know they take of their customers a lot.

This the same Meisam Lamei that works as "customer service manager" at Taps Depot?
Lol!

Purchased what I thought was an American Standard Shower Trim Kit from Taps Depot, Kitchen & Bath : www.tapsdepot.ca which at the time was slightly cheaper than other retailers as it was on sale. Unfortunately I didn't verify the legitimacy of this business as being a physical 'store' as the address indicated online as the head office. After googling the address, it is simply a house that has been shaded out in the google online images.
When I received my order, almost 2months later, it looked like it had been thrown together piece meal, in a broken/used American Standard box. There were components missing, and some of the pieces (ie: Showerhead) weren't even American Standard, they were Moen! The bathtub spout wasn't the one specified in the kit, the faceplate was scratched/used, and the handle to the faceplate was different that the one specified in the online AS kit. At this point, I realized I was ripped off of +$400, including the shipping he charged me to get it to me. Now he is giving me the run around, asking me to ship the kit back - letting me know that it came directly from American Standard and thats where he will ship it back to. Once they receive it, I will get my refund. Why would American Standard send me a MOEN showerhead and want that back? DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. ITS A SCAM.

This massage came from Taps Depot compatriots stores in Toronto and they real customers and they haven’t any deals with Taps Depot , Don’t listen to the scammers guys.
They want to hit to succeed business

I called tapsdepot.ca on July 29, 2023 in the afternoon and spoke to Sam Ramandi to order plumbing fixtures (toilets and bidets). I provided my credit card to Sam for the payment. At first he said the payment didn't go through, so I repeated reading the credit card number to him . After a week when I checked my RBC credit card I found out it was charged twice. First charged was $3,180.95 by Taps Depot Ltd., North York and the second charged was $3,406.95 by www.tasdepot.ca, Toronto. I called and texted Sam and asked there was two charges on my credit card with two different business names? He said "Oh, I returned the money". I then asked him to send me the proof that the money was refunded. Until now (Aug. 12) the money was not refunded back to my account and he didnt even provided me a copy as a proof that the money was refunded.

Unfortunately, some of our store start to putting bad reviews regarding bad customer service or payment issues, fortunately, Taps Depot never get destroyed with those fake and unreal reviews because since 1997 we built customer trust. I think, you ( Competitor stores ) can find a new way to increase their customers. People are so smart and knowledgeable now and understand who is right .
We are noticing that we don’t have a customer with this information and this massage is completely are fake and unreal.
