They called I missed their call so I called them back a lady with a foreign accent asked for me but used a last name I haven't used for sometime told her this said at first wrong number I told her she had the right person what did she want. The lady said I hadn't paid taxes for years and going to collect the debts. I told her she was wrong I do my taxes every year and that she is trying to scam me for money then she hung up on me.

Scammer called me 2x from "IRS" telling me my arrest is imminent if I didn't call them back asap. I tried to call the number back but the message stated that subscriber's phone number is no longer in operation. I then called the BBB to report the scam.

Just got a call from the above Number, It is a pre-recorded message. It was telling me that this was the IRS and this is your final notice, you are being sued by the IRS. We need to hear from you Immediately, call the above number.

gave me information such as "my" case number which was DC45762 and he gave me a warrant number of 00-100-3636. also claimed his badge number was ir-94-11. he intimidates users with the fear of police in a 40 min time frame or a matter of imprisonment for up to 4 years. he has an extension to his number which is 107 and he picked a very generic name which is Martin Robinson. but wouldn't give me an email as only a superior can hand out data like that. he claimed that the mistake was made within a 5 years span from 2011-2016 where my taxes were miscalculated and he also knew info on filing taxes such as 1040 form and 941-c form.

I got this call stating that me and my family was being investigated by the IRS for fraud. When I finally talked to someone, he asked my name and zip code and then hung up. They have called me on the hour for the last 8 hours. I'm tired of being harassed by this company

The scanner identified himself (falsely) as a police officer in attempt to contact me (knew my legal name) in regards to the IRS wanting money.

They left a message on my phone that the police are looking for me. So I call back the number a man answered and asked may I help you. I said what is the name of your company and he replied I am with the IRS. I told him that if he was from the IRS he would have identified himself when he answered the phone. He was trying to convince me he was with the IRS and the I need to take care of this matter now and I just hung up on him.

I received two calls today from women claiming to be with IRS. This was a recorded message. They called from 785 312 4947. The caller said I was turned in and would be arrested. They stated that I needed to call them right away to resolve the problem. I did not return the call.

I believe this is a scam and wanted to warn others.

Phone # left VM stating I had 24 hours to contact IRS before the local police come to my home. Called # above, spoke to a man named Allen. Gave badge # 182855. Stated I owed money on my home and property before any personal info was given. Stated I needed to pay $1000.00 before he sent my file to the courthouse for prosecution. I then told the man the IRS does not contact by phone and the only reason I called back was to get information to send to BBB. He then disconnected the call. I tried calling back and he hung up again. BE AWARE

I've been getting calls over the past few days, and finally answered. The man on the phone stated that he was calling from the IRS. His name of Officer Jeffreys, and I owed about $7000. He claimed that I committed fraud from 2012-2016, and if I did not pay him, I would be arrested. When I told him I was going to call the BBB, he became aggressive and started yelling and swearing at me.

I received a call that went straight to voicemail and didn't register a number on my phone. Recorded voice stated I had a lawsuit filed in my name and an arrest warrant out for me. For more information I could call 1 800 478 4147. I did and they answered IRS and wanted my phone number to verify. I called from a different phone so he couldn't match the number. He asked me again and I gave him the right number but not the one I called with, eventually the phone went dead.

The scammer calls from several numbers. I receive daily calls from 7am-11pm from these scammer numbers. Blocking the phone numbers doesn't work because they call within the next few minutes on a new number, and leaves the same voicemail about committing fraud on the IRS. I'm only a student, this is a huge scam.

I got a call from a person claiming to be Officer Daniel Wilson with the IRS. This man sounded foreign with an accent. He claimed there was a miscalculation on our taxes from 2012-2015. Saying we owed over $7,000. He gave other information to make him sound legitimate. They said I would be arrested if I did not take care of this situation and that my local police department would be contacting me within a half hour. We pay someone to do our taxes.
