on the phone I was told the IRS has a lawsuit against me. I am being audited for the years 1990-1995 and I owe $11870.00 I was told they had a case # DP786293 I was in a panic I said are you sure you have the right person my ss# is-------------------- out of fear I gave them my ss# now it is compromised. I have alerted my bank, credit card and national credit reporting agency.

RECIEVED A CALL ADVISING US OF AN APPLICATION USING OUR NAME AND SS# THAT WILL BE FILED IN A FEW DAYS AND APPEARS TO BE A FRAUD. A DANIEL PARKER CALLED FRON 206-414-2579 AND LEFT A VOICE MAIL. THE CALLER ID GIVEN WAS A ROBERT MEHRING.

I received a phone message from the IRS claiming a law suit against me. I called the number that they left and a man with a heavy middle eastern accent informed me that I owed $91,000. If I didn't pay within 7 days they would send local police to my house and arrest me. He then asked if I had anything to say and I told him he was full of crap and that I didn't owe anyone money. (please excuse my language) He then said OK sir and hung up.

While at my Mother's home in Lincolnton, NC, in early March, 2016, she received a call saying they were the IRS and she owed taxes and had to pay them now..I just hung the phone up.

I received a phone call saying the IRS was filing lawsuit against me and I needed to call this number-1562-451-9046.

I called and talked to a Mark Kelly and he wanted all of my personal information. I said I needed some questions answered before I would give that out over the phone and then he hung up the phone. Not sure the IRS would do this but thought others might need to know.

Got a recording call that said "this is about your IRS lawsuit and to immediately call 347-418-0609"...the guy sounded even like a scam..got mad when i asked standard questions. he wanted personal id information. When i asked for their email or to speak with a supervisor..he came back to the phone pretending to be a supervisor. when i told him that he was the same person, he didnt deny it and then hung up when i asked another question.

This is so terrible!! Please look into this.

I have received multiple phone calls from multiple phone numbers all from different states (looks like voice over IP #'s) trying to tell me that they are from the IRS and I owe taxes. This has been going on since January 2016. I either get a real live person calling me or a recording. The voices are both American accents and foreign accents. Once time they called me the message they left told me that if I didn't call them back immediately I would have to go before a Magistrate and could face jail time if I don't pay ASAP. This has got to cease and desist! People are actually falling for this and paying these freaks their hard earned money. Here are 2 phones numbers that I have on my phone from this "IRS" scam (423) 391-6805 (Tennessee) & (209) 448-2001 (California) When I called the California # back they actually answer the phone "IRS, how can I help you."

Called me saying they were IRS from a tmobile number 562 451 9046. Didn't give them any info call the police dept to report the number. I told them I was reporting them they knew everything about me

When I got home this afternoon there was a voicemail on my machine from a 216-817-0789 number. When I played the voicemail, a very computerized voice played. The voice claimed to be an IRS agent and stated that there is a warrant out for my arrest due to unpaid taxes. I knew this was impossible because I pay my taxes every year on time. In the last part of the message, the voice insisted that I call 202-239-2676 to resolve the matter. Thankfully I called my local ScamPulse.com first and confirmed that this was a scam attempt!

They claim they are part of the government grants and and from the IRS..The names were said to be Viola Almond and Tolt Mitchell using western union with the confirmation number told to be 8579490791

(413)824-5645 Foreign guy by name Dominique Tornado badge ID# IRM 60501. Claims I am being audited and miscalculated my taxes by $7,000 approx. I told him I would not give any info and IRS does NOT call you over phone!! Said nice try with your scam..mail me a letter if it's important! When I snapped about ripping innocent people off he got quiet quick!!!

My cousin was called today from a man stating that he was calling from the IRS. They asked him if he had a lawyer or legal representation because he owed the IRS money. They stated that his income taxes were prepared wrong for 4 years. My cousin panicked and called me immediately. I called the number and spoke to someone identifying themself as IRS agent ID# 1869438. When I asked him what was this about he stated that it was a third party company that prepared my taxes incorrectly and now I owed the IRS $4000. I asked him why haven't the IRS contacted directly by certified mail and he told me to shut up. I called 2 other times and spoke with different representatives and when I started to ask them questions about how did they get my name they became irrate and hung up. One representateve even told me that the police where showing up at my house with a warant for my arrest.
