- Toledo, OH, USA

I have received 24 phone calls in two days - about every half hour. The calls come from multiple numbers. They are supposedly calling from Apple Support and say there is a problem with either IClad or ICloud (can't really understand what they are saying). They tell you to press one or call a number they give you. I have not responded to any of these calls. I never return calls from unsolicited calls.

- Durham, CA, USA

Below is copy of voicemail that was left. I did not call back.

When the phone call comes in it says your iCloud account has been breached there is a brief hold then someone answers when you ask what is this concerning they hang up so you don't know if it's real or not but when you called the number back it says Apple products please look into this so that they want scam anyone else

- East Peoria, IL, USA

Called to let me know one of my apple devices was being getting hacked by someone overseas. They wanted more information and I said no and hung up

I purchased 3 iPhones from *** that I later found out could not be unlocked for my current provider. I called straight talk to unlock the phones they said no so I got online looked up apple official website. From their site clicked support. It gave me the number I provided for a scam. I called spoke to Micheal and Jay from apple or so they said. They told me they could not unlock the phones but apple was sorry for our inconvenience and would mail us 3 more iPhones and we could mail ours back to them. I thought that's nice of them. Well then they asked for my bank for security deposit I did not provide to them. They then asked for itunes cards to provide a deposit and eBay cards to secure insurance on the phone in total $600.00. I did it and they said phones would be mailed on 11-22-19 between 5-7 pm. Attempted to call back and Michael got rude bc I got back on the site and found another number for apple. I feel *** *** *** *** *** are responsible for this. *** for selling merchandise and *** *** for not advertising you had to have their service for 1 year to unlock the phones and *** for not securing their website. No one willing to take blame or refund money taken by scammer that was supposed to be used for Christmas for my children. * *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ***

- Metter, GA, USA

I get emails weekly from “Apple” wanting me to change my apple password due to someone Purchasing something with my Apple ID as well as saying my account is locked and click on the link to unlock the account.

- East Saint Louis, IL, USA

They keep leaving a voice mail saying they are with Apple and there is a problem with my iCloud and I need to contact them. They calls on my house phone. They are calling again as I’m typing this from the same number 18002752273

Call states that iphone has been compromised and to dial 1 to speak to a representative or call the Apple Support Advisor at 516-344-1156.

(then I hung up).

- Mandeville, LA, USA

The message on my phone said "Your Apple ID alert---our server has detected some suspicious hacking on your Apple account. Please do not use your Apple devices until you speak with an Apple support representative." It then provided the 2 844-area code numbers to call back on (I received 2 calls from the 2 800 numbers). I called one of the 844 numbers, which had prompts, and one wanted me to go into my "Settings" and provide information to them. At that point, I hung up because something didn't feel right.

I talked to a gentleman by the name of Jordan Holder . He claimed someone was trying to open an account under my name and had access to my bank account. I kept asking questions because this sounded like a scam. He kept telling me the issue was real. Every question I asked got verified. The longer we talked I was convinced to buy Target gift cards at multiple stores. I am working with my bank to recover my money.

- Broussard, LA, USA

I received an email from Apple, but the format is off. It doesn’t look like other emails I’ve received from Apple. There were also some grammatical errors-like broken English. It said my payment information needed to be updated or my account would be locked.

I was told hackers got a hold of my personal information, fell for it and got me for my money

- Powell, OH, USA

Received an email from Apple stating i made a purchase from them of a mobile game called: Mobile Legends Bang Bang. Plus an attachment for me to download. ip address 172.629.722.310

I received what looked like an official apple email stating my account would be closed if I did not press link and give them my password. Looked very much official but I did not respond as I checked the email address.

Cold call with recorded message. "Your Icloud has been breached. Contact us before using your apple device". I ignored it and blocked the number

This comes up as a message blocker saying that it's a warning that your computer has been infected from a list of the following reasons, pirated software, something downloaded etc. They tell you not to exit the message but to call 1-884-517-0777 which is presented as an apple tech support number ( maybe if you don't have a Mac it would come up as something else). They tell you that your computer is locked until you call the number. This is not true you can close the message easily which you should do. The message is in strong colours like green, red and blue and is not in Apple's style. They want you to accept them into your computer. I did not do this - I asked for another number to verify who they are which the guy gave me and it was clearly not a tech support company. Once I hung up on them - a couple of minutes later I got a call back from them and I just hung up. Do not call the number.

Someone who have a fake Facebook account named Mark Lucas hacked my Yahoo email. This person/persons have been trying to get personal identifiable information from me by sending SCAMMER emails from the company "Apple" asking for my social security number and other personal information. They have been hacking my Yahoo email address for a while (deleting emails from my account, sending me FAKE emails from Apple and other companies, I reported this to everyone that I could and they deleted emails when I reported this to the FBI). I was scammed out of money before when I believed Mark Lucas when he emailed me saying I had won something, and that I needed to pay shipping/handling charges. BE CAREFUL!!!

- Irwin, PA, USA

Received 3 phone calls from people claiming to be from Apple, claiming I am entitled to be refunded money ($49.95) for a Windows product that was supposedly purchased, even though I only own Apple products and they were claiming to be from Apple. They claimed that they needed my personal information such as my name, which I did not provide them with, as they would have had that if this was a legitimate refund. They gave me a 315 area code number to call them back on. It seems fraudulent.
