As I clicked on the link, my phone notified me that someone tried to access my email account.

- Cedar Park, TX, USA

Autobot named Sarah said they got my resume online and thought I’d be interested in working for Amazon testing and reviewing products. Paying $12-$32 per hr. And apply at stockretail.org

- Terry, MS, USA

Voice recording of employment opportunity with Amazon. After seeing my resume online they wanted me to go to stockretail.org and apply for a position of posting products and writing reviews. The pay was $17-$32 an hour and they were only hiring 23 people today. I checked the site and then the ScamPulse.com and found a previous report regarding the same information.

- Stockton, CA, USA

Person named Sarah called to say that She had gotten my Resume on-line and thought I'd be interested in working for Amazon. Shared several positions and quoted a salary from $13 to &32 per hr. Said to apply via stock retail.org as they were only hiring 23 persons.

There was a message saying that there was an at home employment with Amazon.

I went to a website that redirected me to a website where I can spin for a “free amazon gift”

- Cheyenne, WY, USA

I had a message on my home phone which stated that I needed to confirm an Amazon purchase that was charged in my name using my billing information and I needed to call back right away if I didn't make the purchase. They didn't state what the purchase was. So I returned the call to 877-870-8144 and was told the purchase was a gift card. I advised them that I have never purchased gift cards from Amazon and he then proceeded to tell me to log on to my computer so that I could give him information to cancel this fraudulent purchase, etc. I got the feeling that something just wasn't right and told him so and advised him that I was going to call Amazon directly and I did. The Amazon representative said there was no gift card purchase on my account and that the call was indeed fraudulent.

A guy named *** *** called and left a voicemail stating that I submitted an application (which I didn't) for a work-from-home opportunity with Amazon. He then asks me to complete my application so that I can earn $3000-$6000/month using my computer with Amazon. He states that the website to finish my application is amazondatajobs.org.

Why do I need to complete an application for something I already submitted? For an at-home position?

They tried it.

Needless to say I DID NOT go input any information into this website. I immediately googled the "opportunity" and quickly realized they'd been doing this for a couple of months, by somehow spoofing numbers. *** *** apparently has many phone numbers.

after submitting my application I got a call and message from an Ohio number telling me to complete an application at Amazon Data Jobs dot com. visited the site on my work computer but it redirects to another site.

search of the phone number and saw several complaints in the last two weeks about this number and the same job offer to work from home for 6K per month.

- Elmore, AL, USA

Phone didn't ring and had a voicemail telling me to finish my application for amazon work from home job. I never did any such application, so didn't even go to the site.

A guy named Max called my husband's phone, which never rang, and left a voicemail. The voicemail said, "hi Max here calling about the application you submitted for the work from home opportunity with Amazon. Please complete your application and learn how you can earn up to $3,000-$6,000 per month using your computer with Amazon. The website to finish your application is amazondatajobs.org". The thing is, my husband never filled out any applications to work from home.

Person texted us saying they were Amazon and that fraud had been detected on our amazon account. we called back and gave our debit card number because "Amazon" said they needed it to fix the situation. Instead the person stole $2400 from us. They answered the phone as amazon and even sent us emails with Amazon's logo.

Received an email from "@amazonhelpline" stating that someone from Dayton, Ohio was trying to reset my password. The email wanted me to call 1-888-569-2835 to provide account details.

When checking my local weather on my mobile phone I was interrupted by an Amazon "Quiz" that promised 1 of 3 prizes. A new I phone, a new Samsung Galaxy, or a 1000.00 gift card. This was the second time I have gotten this pop up. You needed to answer 3 questions and if you were correct the three aforementioned prizes popped up but we're obscured by treasure chests. Once you chose a chest your "prize" was revealed. Then you had to agree to these obscure and non closing terms..... essentially forcing you to spend money on Amazon over several months with rules meant to message you up. I have Amazon prime and just paid them almost 100.00 for the privilege. I am now cancelling all business with them. Just to complain to them by phone you were asked to log in and pay for the phone number. Are you kidding?

- Eleva, WI, USA

I was using the Internet and a window popped up saying that Amazon chooses 10 members every Sunday to give $1000. Choose either an iPhone, a galaxy or ....

Once I saw the address had nothing to do with Amazon, I didn’t go further.

Trying to get someone to click link of a qualifying sale that wasn’t made.

- Birmingham, AL, USA

This scammer contacted me about a fake order that I didn't even make. It promises to compensate me $50 if I take a short survey, but I know this is a scam because this is not from the official Amazon email address.

- Riverton, UT, USA

A person called claiming to be from Amazon wanting to confirm my address. Next thing I know Amazon is confirming a purchase for almost $400 that I did not order. I quickly called Amazon and our credit card company to report the scam and get our accounts cleared.

I Got this email -- and I knew something was up -- I do not HAVE an Amazon account -- searching the phone number proved it was a scam.
