I placed my order via PayPal hoping that I would be backed up incase of a "scam". I ordered a notepad and pen set from Frontaley (Amgo Technology). After digging further these businesses do not exist and are SCAMS. I am trying to get my money back from Pay Pal because I never received my order placed on April 4, 2025. The "tracking" reported that my package had been delivered to an address in Texas on April 21, 2025. I live in North Carolina and my address was correct when I placed the order via PayPal. I digging deeper, I found that one tracking email said shipping from Ireland . After googling these company names Hong Kong is showing up in searches. TOTAL SCAM and I think PayPal is involved as well. I feel like my payment and personal information may have been compromised. I have the tracking proof that I have not received the package. I have contacted all parties to no avail.

This local business is claiming to be licensed/bonded/insured contractors but they are not! Be careful who you hire; there are already many different posts on local social media pages warning of the terrible or incomplete work they are doing. Taking thousands of dollars upfront for a job then not completing it

The Scammer emailed me and said he would pay off my bills and that I needed to give him all account names and account numbers and account balances.

Also that he would need my bank account numbers so he could deposit checks to the account so that he could pay off my credit card balances.

I am submitting this complaint to report a fraudulent transaction involving a seller operating under the name lara.sneakers on TikTok and Instagram, as well as a company called Cargo International Shipping, which claims to be based in Australia.

I discovered lara.sneakers on TikTok, where she appeared to be a legitimate and popular seller of sneakers. She instructed customers to contact her via Instagram and WhatsApp. Her WhatsApp number is +86 170 2695-2503. Her website is https://larashoes.x.yupoo.com/albums.

I placed an order for a pair of sneakers totaling $210. Payment was requested through CashApp, Zelle, or Bitcoin. I used CashApp, although the account name seemed suspicious. Despite my concerns, I proceeded with the transaction.

Shortly after, I was instructed to contact Cargo International Shipping to arrange delivery. The company claimed I needed to pay an additional $200 for “insurance due to tariffs.” I paid the amount as directed.

I was told my package would be delivered within three days. However, when the time came, I was informed the package was being held at the local post office, and that I needed to pay another $500 for a “city permit” in order for it to be delivered. I was assured that all payments would be refunded upon delivery.

After paying the $500, I was then asked for an additional $300 for “city permit stamps.” At this point, I realized I had been the victim of a scam. In total, I have lost over $1,000 and have never received the merchandise.

It is my belief that lara.sneakers and Cargo International Shipping are operating together in a coordinated scam targeting individuals through social media platforms. I am requesting an investigation into these entities and assistance in recovering the funds I have lost.

Concern Over Potentially Unlawful Raffle Conducted by Public Figure “Chiquis” (Chiquis Rivera)

I am writing to raise concern about an online raffle currently being promoted by public figure and artist Chiquis Rivera, also known as “Chiquis” on Instagram. Approximately eight weeks ago, she began advertising a raffle where participants could buy a $100 ticket for a chance to win two vehicles.

The raffle has been consistently marketed via her official Instagram account to a large following. Originally, the drawing was advertised to take place on April 20th (4/20), but on April 15th, she posted a last-minute update extending the raffle and moving the drawing date to May 5th (5/5).

As of this writing:

• No nonprofit organization has been disclosed as the beneficiary of this raffle.

• There is no public mention of where the proceeds are going.

• The odds of winning have not been shared.

• There is no registration number or documentation provided to show compliance with California raffle laws.

According to the California Attorney General’s Office, only eligible nonprofit organizations that have been in operation for at least one year and registered with the Registry of Charitable Trusts may conduct raffles. Furthermore, raffles cannot be conducted or operated online—only advertised there—and the drawing must be conducted in accordance with the law.

If this raffle is being operated without a licensed nonprofit entity and without compliance with California law, it may be considered unlawful gambling or a deceptive practice.

I’m submitting this concern in good faith with the hope that it can be reviewed for potential consumer risk or legal noncompliance.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Company took order info., kept me informed on shipping, but then said it was delivered. Home all day, never received item. Contacted them via their support with no reply. I have had similar experiences with some Chinese companies. They send bogus shipping info, then claim they delivered when they never sent, but take your money.

Bought items from a Instagram verified business called SHOPFORRETAIL.LLC **** https://www.instagram.com/shopforretail.llc ****

The business uses text messages and Instagram messaging to ensure that the products all authentic, and will provide a full refund. Paid the business @ 708-901-0054 and received 2 fake tracking numbers from FedEx. The items were never delivered and the business sent a third fake tracking number. Asked for a full refund and the business stopped responding. This business is a scam with fake Instagram followers, fake pictures of products, and a fake verified Instagram account. The business operates 2 other Instagram accounts all with SHOPFORRETAIL. Do not buy or send any money to this scamming Instagram account.

I saw an ad on Instagram appearing to be from The Hudson's Bay Department Store. The photo showed some very nice boots and said they were on clearance for $69. It assured me there was a money back guarantee if I didn't like the boots. And the company said that they would deliver the boots in the next 2 days. I ordered the boots and paid with my Visa card.

The boots didn't come for a long time, but I received a couple of emails claiming that shipments were slow due to a high volume of orders. Eventually the boots arrived and were dropped off at the lobby of my building without me being notified.

When I opened the package, I almost started laughing! the boots are of such poor quality, if I hadn't paid $69 I would have thought it was a good joke. They look more like cheaply made bedroom slippers than outdoor boots and I'm sure that if I wore them outside even once, they would completely fall apart. There was no packing slip or invoice or paperwork of any kind in the package.

I emailed the company (thinking it was part of the Bay) and told them I was dissatisfied with their product and would like to return it. I did receive a reply, and was told that I would have to supply photos of the boots as they had arrived and proof of purchase. I sent a copy of my Visa statement and a photo of the boots as they appeared on arrival.

A day later I was told that they photos were "broken" and needed to be sent again. I complied. I was then offered a 15% refund or I could purchase another item from their "catalogue" for $9.99. (as if that was a great deal) I told them these options were not appropriate and that I would like a full refund.

I then receieved 2 other emails stating that I would have to return these boots TO CHINA and at my own expense, along with 1) A valid track and trace code of the return shipment.

2) Proof of return (for example, a receipt from the shipping service).

If they then felt that I had a point in returning the boots, they would let me know if I'd be issued a refund.

The scammer came across as a shoe seller. After sending the money he gave me a tracking number from FedEx that required a signature. I tracked once it was not delivered to my house. I called FedEx and they were able to provide a receipt that proved it wasn’t delivered to my address. Let the seller know he agreed to resend a pair of shoes. Again got a tracking number only this time it didn’t require a signature so therefore FedEx was not able to help me much as far as sending a receipt. Made the seller aware again the shoes did not come to my address. This was a couple days ago3/15/2025 still waiting for a response form Rodoflo ***** @ 702-490-6182
