Email states a hold has been placed on my Amazon account and I need to update personal information. If not updated within 24 hours all pending orders will be cancelled. I have been getting these for about 3 weeks now. I have chatted online with Amazon and these are not coming from them. My orders are going through just fine.

I dont have one, they wanted me to drive all over getting gift cards to verify who I am. I fell for it and gave them close to $3000. I verified with Amazon and they didnt have any record of it.

I received an email regarding a package being shipped with a shipping ID. The Mac book Air - $899.99 was being sent to Robert Briseno of San Antonio, TX. I did not know this person or make any order. So I called the phone number and said I did not order anything and how do I know this is not a scam. I kept mentioning about this being a scam and the person hung up. I called my bank and checked on both bank account and credit card account and all was fine. I printed the email and deleted it from my account. I have not received another email regarding this matter.

I received a message on my landline warning me that my Amazon account had been fraudulently used. They said I needed to contact them in order to prevent charges being made to my account. I called the number (above); to a very busy call center and was prompted to download the Teamviewer app. I was unable to properly process a complaint directly through Teamviewers website; they only seem to want to assist the paying clients, which are the scammers in this case and probably many more! I can access a thread that was saved that may even help identify the scammers that were able to claim to be "Amazon wants to access your info" prompting me to "allow" them. Had they used a less legit name, I would not have! Amazon claimed this type of thing happens a lot, but did nothing to try and identify the scammers.

The scammers knew the last four digits of two of my credit cards but tried to use Teamviewers to watch me enter my bank account number into my apple wallet! They disconnected our session when I stalled to do some fact checking via my laptop.

They told me to go to Dollar General or Save-A-Lot and buy gift cards and read them off to the guy on the phone. Apparently my account had been breached and I owed $500 to the account. I bought a $300 gift card and a $200 gift card and read them. Alex *** was the person I spoke with.

Someone reportedly from Amazon called to verify an order placed in Pennsylvania for an i-phone 11. When I said that nobody from here placed the order, they said they would cancel it and somebody must have gotten my Amazon card info. They then offered to help "protect" my Amazon account so that only I could use it. To do this they requested that I go to my computer and they would walk me through the process. Obviously they were trying to access my computer. Told them that I didn't have time for this right now so they offered to call back another day. I then called the number they had given me and got a very generic "leave a message" with no mention of Amazon.

Phone call inquiry of asking if I attempted to buy a $700 IPhone on my Amazon acct. When I stated "No", they said the purchase had been blocked because someone was using my IP address in another state to log into my Amazon acct. They said that they needed to fix the problem, and asked if I was near my computer. Wanted me to log on, and they could fix it. I stated that it wasn't convenient for me right now and I requested a return phone call in a couple hours. In the meantime, I call Amazon, they said they saw no attempt to buy an IPhone, and there was no reference of any phone calls to me. They suggested that I change my password. A couple hours later, get another phone call, directly mentioning about someone using my IP address to make a purchase, no mention of Amazon or IPhone this time. I mention that I had several IP's and inquired to which one was being used. They wouldn't reply, but wanted me to log into my computer. Phone call ended.

I got an invoice from Amazon thanking me for my $6000 purchase and if I did not make this purchase to call this number . It was stated in parentheses as Fraud Protection . They had my email , address , phone number and debit info already . They stated I needed to go to Walmart and buy a gift card that would act as a blocker for future incidents . It was at this point that I knew it was a scam and I hung up on them .

"Her package was to be delivered to Dayton OH and if it wasn't her package, to call 678-369-4782 which she did. The message she received when she call this # said it wasn't working at this time to try later and she did and it was busy.
