I did not respond, because I don't respond to situations in which I am not familiar. I received a text message that stated,"Shipped, Your Amazon package with $103 loyalty reward will be delivered Monday, June 15th, Marguerite."

The first message said it would be delivered on Sunday. I'm not Marguerite or maybe that was supposed to be the person sending it. I never received a package. But I am not familiar with Amazon giving out rewards. I did not call nor did I contact them by what appears to be a website. I think someone was trying to contact me for fraudulent purposes. I'm not sure this was a fraud, because I didn't respond. It does sound fishy. ( I don't really know what kind of fraud it was, because I didn't respond.I put counterfeit product, because I had to put something.)

I received this text 06/04/2020 from a company claiming to be “Amazon”. It’s FAKE, do NOT open it! Just report it to the ScamPulse.com and delete/block the number. I’ve received 2 of these text now.

I received this text today, and it’s a scam. Please be aware!! Do not open the link! Just delete the text after you report it here to the BBB.

Found a number that seemed like an extension to the Amazon Prime department requesting for a refund on Prime purchase that was made accidentally. I was told by the “supposed Amazon representative” that in order for me to get my refund back I needed to buy Ebay gift cards of various amounts like $25, $75, $100, etc and give them the codes so that they can “verify” my location(my zip code) and they also asked for the last 4 digits of my bank card and my name as well. In the end, never receiving my refund back. They used the names which I assume are probably fake; Sandra Williams and Ryan Banks

Received a call from a recording from Amazon stating that I had charged $290. If I did not charge this then I would need to call a specific number back (I didn't write the number down). I hung up the phone due to me knowing that I did not charge.

I called my credit card company and did not see any charges or pending charges.

I went on my Amazon account as well to see if there were any current orders and did not see anything either.

The phone number they called me from was my phone number.

I fell for the whole thing. They claimed that my mothers account was over charged by $299. I was trying to help out my mother because she does not bank online, so I was going to just give her back the money after they transferred the money to my account. The scammer gets on and has you download the software. They have you type in information on a form to get a transaction #. They have you pull up the bank account and watch you put in the passwords. They then will have you go to another form called Amazon money portal. Claim they have to do it this way because it is business to personal account. Then they have you type in amounts and then the scammer key strokes over the top of it. They do not have you put in any decimals (so they can keep adding zeros to the end). They then try to claim it was your error and they will try to help you fix it. Luckily I had stalled enough times that the bank had actually closed and the transaction was going to happen the next day. I then realized that the money was transferred from my credit card attached to the account to my checking. So the money that showed in my checking account actually came from my own credit card.

I did not do my research soon enough, and I did not ask my mother enough questions, and I was not patient enough to write their information down and tell them I would get back to the. Luckily, I got the payment stopped, called the fraud department at the bank, and called the local sheriff.

Wished I had done research first.

Received a call via cell phone that was automated stating that a charge of over $500.00 was charged to my amazon for a phone purchase and to please contact them at their number if there was any dispute. As a shopper of amazon.com I checked the Amazon customer service number and called but due to covid 19 it referred me to email or check orders. So I called the number they originally called me from and when I mentioned I called the real amazon customer service number they hung up on me.

I did open because I have orders still processing at Amazon. I forwarded the email to Amazon spoof and they said that it definitely was not sent from them. Not sure what would happen if I would have answered the email.

Below is the attachment. I can forward the email to you. It won't let me save the letter and attach it.

"Amazon" called and said they were going to bill me $39.00 for the privilege of using amazon. I don't have an account, and never have. I don't use a computer or smart phone. They asked how much I had in my bank account.

Caller said she was an Amazon representative and that their records indicated I had made a $77 purchase on my Visa today. If that was true, I was not to do anything - if it was untrue, I was to call 810.212.0771.

Received an email confirming an order on my account, looked ligit, I had not placed the order, email included a support phone number, I called and thought I was talking to known vendor, he instructed me to type in pchelp/cc and type yes, I did, that gave him access to my computer. two weeks later he had accessed my computer, my email and made purchases on Amazon and Walmart, using my paypal acct which was connected to my Discover acct.. Purchases were for game cards, emailed . This is a nightmare. I feel utterly stupid for having fell for this scam.

I have reformatted my computer , changed passwords alerted businesses involved and am praying this will be resolved soon.

I got a call on my answering machine telling me that someone had ordered an iPhone 11 on my Amazon Account; and that they suspected it to be a fraudulent purchase. They told me to call 1-515-236-5390 if I did not order this phone. I called the # and told the agent that I did not order a phone. He told me my Amazon Account showed that someone had placed an order for $995.for an iPhone 11 using my account. He told me to open up my Amazon account and he would show me how to get my money refunded to my account. I refused to do that, and hung up the phone.

Message left on phone, to call regarding cancelling prime channels. (Which I did do in March). The phone number to call is 1-229-299-5375. So I called thinking there might be one that didn't get cancelled. Was told by a man named Michael that I was charged $39.99 a month? last month for prime channels. Said I had cancelled that. Was then on the phone with a Mark Johnson. In talking to him he said he could refund me, but I had to download the Team viewer app, which I couldn't find in the app store for my Amazon tablet! I was disconnected. I called back and asked for Mark Johbson. He came on the phone again and I heard a dog barking in the background! So I knew something wasn't right. I did find team viewer in Google play but couldn't get it (thankfully). I got a email from Google about suspicious activity! It showed a sign in from a Asus Nexus 7 (2012) and another from me. I changed my Google password and my Amazon password. Apparently they had accessed Amazon to get the information, my phone number, and the fact that I cancelled my prime channels.

They were after my card number for the supposed refund! They didn't get it. Told them I would be reporting them to the "Real Amazon". He said go ahead and hung up. I have not been able to get in touch with Amazon. So reporting this to you.
