Received a fax from (470) 613-0826 with an invoice for "Annual fax service for one annual term." They provided an address for checks to be mailed (9535 Forest Lane, Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243) and an email address for wire or ACH payments ([email protected]). This "company" is not providing fax services for us.

Fake fax invoice from Relay Wire for annual service renewal

My agency (government) received a fax from Relay Wire that stated it was an annual service renewal for year 3 for our existing fax infrastructure service. The remittance instructions say to make checks payable to "Relay Wire", reference the fax number on the check memo line. It also gives contact information for the account executive and has emails for other contacts. No phone numbers or website listed.

Fax invoice from Relay Wire for $498.85 appears invalid

I received a fax from Relay Wire informing me that our company owed $498.85 for our wire fax services. We switched over to an online fax system last October so receiving this invoice made us pause for a moment. We weren't sure if there was an additional fee for the service that AT&T was providing. We pay them for the line but perhaps this is the fee to convert the fax to email. We contacted AT&T and were informed that this was not valid.

We've received this fax more than once now, and it looks very legitimate at first - has our company info, the right fax line information, and they even created an "account number" for us. I've reached out to the billing@ and the Stephanie Wray ([email protected]) several times and never heard anything back (and don't expect to!).
