Fake Chiefs ticket Facebook group scammed me out of $1200
It had been a group for 8 years with 6,500 members.
There were 4 "ADMIN" names of the group: David Thomas, Lancelot Miller (332-261-0790), Eva Thompson (832-612-8499) & Greg Johnson (361-308-9581)
I spoke with Eva Thompson through the Facebook group, then through text. I was attempting to buy 6 Chiefs tickets for $1200. She sent a request for $800 through Apple Pay then the other $400 request came through. I double checked with both Admin Eva and Greg to verify the correct email before sending.
The first request came from: [email protected]
The second request came from: [email protected]
She told me they were through 2 different emails because they were coming from a different group.
Now, I am unable to find the Facebook group to report it. I have reported each of the admin people to Facebook and a friend has reported the group. I have screenshots of all of it, if that would help.
