The contest mentioned claims to raise money for Breast Cancer. Contestants are not allowed to see the amount of money raised by each contestant, not allowed to see how many votes each contestant has, not even allowed to see who other contestants are outside of their local group. There is no way to tell what place you truly are in, and how many votes others have. The proprietors continually ask you to buy votes without contestants having the knowledge of how far behind they may be from other contestants. I have never heard of a beauty pageant that doesn't allow a contestant to know who the other people are that they are competing against.

They said they were with Facebook. They said I won the lottery with Facebook.

Entered my pet in a contest supposed to be for modern dog magazine. Paws charity. Thru DTCare (83-3344803) stated with each dollar donated you could buy votes for the pet of your choice and stated that the money would be donated to charity called paws. My boyfriend also purchased 10.00 for ten votes. I could not use my ten votes as my dog was entered. I was still charged the 10.00. They give you choices to purchase 10.00, 25.00, 50.00, 100.00 and more. Is this a scam? If i dont get my votes i want my money back!

My daughter entered the FAB 40's contest (a fundraiser managed by Colossal Management LLC, for the National Breast Cancer Foundation) that advertised $40,000 to the winner, a spa vacation, and a Beauty Magazine spread. Donors cannot be entrants, but as a mother of the entrant, I donated 4 times ($10 each) based upon emails that I received from my daughter and from Fab 40s/Colossal that she was "first in her group" through several weeks (Starting in October and ending at the conclusion of December) as this contest is prolonged. (The points attached to my donations went to my daughter's profile.) Naturally, this kind of information about "leading" in a "group" through various "rounds" motivated me to donate more and more, since these donations accorded double the amount of points added to my daughter's profile. There were also periods where Free votes accorded double points but adding a donation during these periods, significantly compounded points added to my daughter's profile. In response, she was very excited by her being a leader in her "group." But what on earth was this "group" about? I had no idea how many other entrants were competing for the top spot, and on what basis the WINNER would be picked. Each entrant answered a few questions about their life goals, interests, etc. and had their own space to upload their own photos.. As time passed, I started to ponder whether winning was directly connected to mass donations solicited by the entrants, stemming from social media popularity, community connections, etc., rather than by any other criteria. And then when the contest concluded and millions of dollars in donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation were announced by Fab 40's/Colossal Management LLC, neither I or my daughter could believe that the basis for choosing the Fab 40's Contest winner, had anything to do with the questions in the profile or the character merit of each entrant. It was based on $$$$$ donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation through fundraiser, Colossal Management, LLC. Even more troubling was that there was NO disclosure about how many "groups" were formed by fundraiser Colossal Management, LLC in order, it appears, to compartmentalize, and create the illusion that entrants within their "group" might be "leading" when in fact there was turned out to be a huge entry population, not identified by Colossal that had the same mailers sent to them, leading on these entrants--making them all think they were at the top of a heap. It created the illusion of their edging closer to the winner's circle driving them to acquire more and more donations. Finally, there was no information about the apportionment of POINTS, donations with relation to the final winner selection. NO DISCLOSURE... and as a donor, I feel that I was hoodwinked and scammed over the duration of the competition because of a lack of proper information about the structure of the contest and the actual basis of picking a winner. Even worse, I am concerned that my daughter endured false hopes about her chances of winning the competition incurring emotional damage. Therefore, I am requesting, at minimum, my money back. ($40)

I was called by a man stating he was from publisher clearing house and I had won 5 million 5 hundred dollars plus 550,000in raw spending money plus a 2024 mecadis Benz car they were going to deliver today to my resident all I had to pay was 12000.00 dollars for tax and delivery. The sent me an email that had USA legal service on it from Las Vegas Nevada it was very professional paper work that even has the ScamPulse.com emblem on it. I don't have 12000.00 so they gave me a number to Advance America loan company to get a loan then when I was handed my winnings I would be getting that 12000 back in a check or cash. I was also sent by text an picture of from the first guy I talked to. I hadn't gotten into a contest in years but they said my name stayed in the system that's why I won. They are giving me 7 to14 business days to respond but I was told if I could come up with the money today it would be delivered today. I'm still not sure if it's legit or not. If you could would you please let me know. Thank you

Had won a sweepstakes prize $350. The website requested that I then re-verify as a verification had been done to even begin participating upon submitting the required documents. The company told me to wait three days. This is on the on 1210 2024. After waiting the allotted time I again reached out as no contact had been made and was told the same thing to wait X amount of days I reached out a third time and was told the exact same thing. The website says redemption will be delivered within 3 to 5 business days. It has gone on 7 days. and it does not seem as though any extra verification has been attempted considering this case was made a priority by the company on multiple occasions and is still in the same place as far as the verification I’ve been told to wait and I just want to warn people about how they’re scamming people out of their money because there has been no attempt to verify no attempt to rectify no attempt to facilitate my redemption, even though it was fairly won and the requested documents were submitted

The scammer promoted that if you play a game, you could win a Stanley Cup and would only have to pay $2.99 for shipping. After playing the game on the website browser, I entered my prepaid gift card and shipping information email address, phone number, Once this was submitted, I was navigated to a page that showed an order confirmation number and information to contact them if I have questions. It was promoted that only $2.99 was the total. Prepaid Visa card account. It showed the transaction of $9.97. When I called the customer service line sounded like foreigners maybe Filipino call center members. They noted that I actually entered into a raffle for a drawing to Enterprise and not the $2.99 that was promoted on the website. I asked for the $9.97 to be refunded. They obliged. I do see both transactions in my transaction history where the $9.97 were taken out and the $9.97 were refunded. I asked for a email confirmation of these transactions they did not produce any at all. They were not able to redirect me to the terms and conditions of this Sweepstakes. They just noted that the terms and conditions meant I agree to a $10 raffle ticket and not the $2.09 nine cent shipping of the device they promoted that I won the playing the game. Again, they’ve never produced email receipts. They never produced any redirection on where to go to review terms and conditions. It is a scam.
