The scammer promoted that if you play a game, you could win a Stanley Cup and would only have to pay $2.99 for shipping. After playing the game on the website browser, I entered my prepaid gift card and shipping information email address, phone number, Once this was submitted, I was navigated to a page that showed an order confirmation number and information to contact them if I have questions. It was promoted that only $2.99 was the total. Prepaid Visa card account. It showed the transaction of $9.97. When I called the customer service line sounded like foreigners maybe Filipino call center members. They noted that I actually entered into a raffle for a drawing to Enterprise and not the $2.99 that was promoted on the website. I asked for the $9.97 to be refunded. They obliged. I do see both transactions in my transaction history where the $9.97 were taken out and the $9.97 were refunded. I asked for a email confirmation of these transactions they did not produce any at all. They were not able to redirect me to the terms and conditions of this Sweepstakes. They just noted that the terms and conditions meant I agree to a $10 raffle ticket and not the $2.09 nine cent shipping of the device they promoted that I won the playing the game. Again, they’ve never produced email receipts. They never produced any redirection on where to go to review terms and conditions. It is a scam.

he phoned my husband and asked for me and he knew my name, he said I had won $700,050.00 and he gave me a claim number 4277112us. He said I would get $5000.00 in cash to spend in cash and $7000.00 every week for the rest of our lives. And all of the money we received would be free from taxes. he said the company would take care of the taxes. They told me they would go with us to our bank to put the money into our account , but that I had to get a Money Pak card and asked if we had a Walgreens , CVS, or Dollar General in town and I told them that we only have a Dollar General , so they told me to go and get a Money Pak card and put $499.00 on it. They would call back in 2o minutes. So I got the card and came home and they called back . They asked if I had the card and I told them that I did and they said to turn the card over and scratch off the silver part to give them the number in the box so they could send it to the company to keep in their files. Then they kept saying that I needed to keep the card and receipt in a safe place , because I would need to take it to the bank to the bank when they bring the cashiers check to our house and the & the $5000.00 in cash so we could take it to the bank. Then they called back later and said that the treasurer of the company had to meet with the Iowa States Attorney to get the Iowa state taxes revoked and put the Iowa State Seal on the cashiers check . They kept saying that this is going to be our most happy day. That the they had not spoken to the treasurer of the company yet , they are suppose to have a meeting with them Saturday morning again and they would let us know. I told them that our bank closes at 11:00 am on Saturdays. My husband said this is a scam , because they wanted us to go get seven more Money Pak cards with $500.00 on all seven cards . after this we definitely realized it was scam and after web search we realized that it it is.

Amc stubs member, reawarded me a site to claim...which was a 3 month trail promo for SiriusXM. The website said I will be eligible if I had recently bought used car....or never had XM service.

Well I recently bought a used car. ... So I am eligible however customer service says I'm not.... Because XM was used on that car... I have no idea but it seems like it's a bait and switch type of deal and they wanted to offer me other promotions.... And they need to be more transparent on their website about that situation.... Which they're not because of deceitful play on words...

Someone is impersonating the Calcasieu Parish Public Library and sending facebook messages to those who commented on one of the Library's Facebook posts. In the post, we are asking patrons to name their favorite resource that the library offers to win a gift bag. Unfortunately, that opened the door to a scammer who is now messaging those who posted saying that they won. When they click on the link, they input their personal information. Unfortunately, it also asks for credit card information saying that they need to "join."

While the Calcasieu Parish Public Library did indeed ask patrons for their favorite service of the library, we are NOT this service asking for information/credit card information. Any help to spread the word would be most helpful. Thank you!

The scammed continues to call me and tells me that I entered a sweepstakes contest on last year. Says I've won 2'5 million dollars plus a 2023 Mercedes Benz. Said that I need to go to Walmart and get a money pack card so that the winning can be put on the card then I had to take it to the bank to verify the cash was in the bank. The name that shows up on the caller ID is Winston price. He got angry with me when I asked why the personal questions. Somehow he had personal information.

scammer said i won 750.000 dollars. need Green dot money pack scratch card for 200 dollars for delivery charge. kept calling me using this number 1-628-299-5222. then recalled on restricted number of poor connection. wanted to know color of card and fee charged. stopped at sheriff office to report and have shaerriff talk to scammer, he hung up
